what a fantastic place to eat, drink and be merry, the dinner and desert was excellent, hats off to the chef, the staff, nothing was too much trouble, they were wonderful, The venue was my choice and we would love to do it again very soon. On an old pub/tavern trail, couldn’t have missed this one! The atmosphere and the food was great. There was a bit of a service delay, maybe because the tavern was quite full and the two servers there were trying to do their best. Definitely not to be missed when in the

Came in for a quick respite from the rain and wanted something hot to drink. Disappointed that all we could get was tea. Had hoped for some mulled wine or hot cider, expectations of it being a pub. Not there long enough to try the food.
