Gastropubs in Stratford Upon Avon
“It’s ok, but not 5 stars ok. The location is good, but I’d expect a little more from the place. Also, it’s quite expensive.”
“Popped into the Townhouse to meet some friends for a Saturday afternoon drink. Hadn’t eaten lunch so ordered a sandwich, which was lovely, it came with a side salad and fries, all for £7.50. Service/staff were lovely and friendly, definitely recommend the sandwiches!”
“Very nice roast on Sunday. Beef is cooked a little rare for my liking but there was plenty of it and the service was impeccable.”

“This was recommended to us by the receptionist at the Premier Inn where we were staying for the night. Very convenient location for us. Lovely food that night. The service was excellent, friendly and prompt. At one stage we had 4 different people looking after us. A nice atmosphere indoors where we ate. The rugby was being shown outdoors and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. There was a good selection of drinks as well.”
