We had a fantastic experience during our New Year's Eve Sunday lunch at this charming venue. Right from the beginning, we felt warmly welcomed, and they even accommodated our dog, placing our reserved table next to the cozy log burner, which was absolutely perfect! Booked this place for new years eve. We don't know Stratford but we're glad we chose here. On entry it appears to be a traditional pub, the restaurant is to the rear with an upstairs section as well. We were given a set menu for new year which was quite short but the result was fantastically cooked and presented meals which we didn't have to wait long for. Had a wonderful lunch here at the One Elm. The restaurant is so charming and the food was excellent. My favorite thing I ate was the tempura fried zucchini with truffle dip; I’ve never had an appetizer like it. The chicken schnitzel was also delicious; it came with this good herbed butter on top. Perfectly crispy schnitzel and solid fries too!
