Lovely pub/restaurant in the heart of Stratford upon Avon. Excellent value for money with weekdays they have an offer for 2 meals for under £12 between 12-6pm. There is limited choice if you opt for this deal but there is something for everybody. Much bigger menu and choice if you are happy to pay the full price. You can add a starter and dessert for £2.99 if you select this menu. Service was quick, restaurant was spotless and food was delicious. One slight issue we had was a slight overcharge which we didn't notice until after. This could have been contributed by the fact they thought they might be flooded so we're obviously concerned by this and customer safety.

We booked NYD last minute with a party of 6 and our visit exceeded our expectations. Jake, our server was excellent. He was super efficient and friendly. The food that was served was all hot, well presented and delicious. Thank you.

We visited here for Sunday lunch during the Christmas market. The market was so busy and it was great to come inside into a relaxing atmosphere and settle down. Service was great and our meals came quite soon. Two tasty beef Sunday lunches and two chicken meals. Puddings were good too and all quite reasonably priced.

We didn't have a reservation and it was a Saturday lunch time when the Stratford street markets were on and the whole town was busier than normal but we were given a table for four we were served by John and he was absolutely brilliant and professional he sorted our drinks order and later returned to take our food order we opted to eat in the restaurant area away from the bar area and it was comfortable and really nice.John soon returned with our food and it was delicious.Will definitely return next time we are in town and a special thanks to John and the rest of the staff for a very enjoyable time.

We went to this pub two nights following it was that good, The staff were friendly and very efficient, the food was faultless and was very quick in being served from when ordered ( and the pub was busy to). Spot on what more can I say we will defiantly be back again.

Went pre-theatre, as have been here years ago, and they have parking which we can use whilst at the theatre (RSC). Booked the table months ago. We were given a lovely table for the 2 of us, a lovely feel when we walked in, was greeted and seated quickly and warmly. Lovely decorations, and a great cosy feel. Our Waiter David has exceptional customer service skills, one of the best services we have ever received anywhere. Varied Menu, and great value. Food was superb! Quality food, and plenty of it, and a great selection of drinks including cocktails at a great price. Really can not speak highly enough, this stands out for it's excellence in service, David being a real asset, and fabulous ambience and quality food. Have already been recommending scince arriving at work this morning! Well Done Red Lion, and shout out to David ( and I believe Mark? who bought our food from the kitchen, what a fabulous man)
