We stopped in here for dinner on our one night in Stratford. What a treat! There is a preserved mural on the wall and lots of detail about the history of the buildings. The food was fantastic and the staff were so kind as we dealt with our unruly toddler. We’d love to come back and try the hotel.

Can’t comment on the rooms but the pub is lovely, sadly let down by disinterested staff. The barman (barboy actually) has the personality of a cockroach and the spatial vision of a bat. Be prepared to wait around and be ignored while they run out of your beer of choice. Take the wasted time though, to wander through the nooks snd crannies… this is a genuine 15th century gem. If only the staff recognised how much better it could be with a little hospitality.

Beautiful old pub located at the top of Stratford High Street. Great selection of drinks (especially gins). Sensible pricing and a nice ambience.

Didn’t stay at the hotel. Met up with family for a drink and light lunch. We had a selection of lightly toasted sandwiches with fries and wonderful pints of London Pride and ESB. Prices for food and drinks were very reasonable. A nice characterful place in town. Beer was very well kept.Food & drinks: All excellent

This hotel was about a ten minute walk from the RSC theater. We stayed one night and had breakfast and dinner in the dining room. I would recommend this hotel in you are staying in Stratford, it's close to the sights, The Schoolroom and Shakespeare's birthplace and the theatre. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The room was warm which was great because it was -1C when we stayed over. The bathroom was very modern with a big bathtub. The White Swan also had really nice soap and shampoo. You can't take it with you but it was much better than most hotels. The dining room is gorgous. It has multiple fireplaces and a very good Tudor feel. The dinner was delicious. I had the cod, their signature dish and my daughter the burger which she finished. Breakfast was equally divine as we sat near a fireplace with a roaring fire and had a hot breakfast with some smaller dishes from the sidebar. I would definitely stay here again. Well worth the money.

Stopped in Stratford upon Avon for a natural break, walked across road to White Swan. Old building very atmospheric loads of small rooms and low beams. Warm and inviting, we had a glass of mulled wine and a toasted cranberry and brie sandwich with chips which was very good. Toilets very clean and fresh and we also noted a very high level of cleanliness, constant disinfecting of tablesFood & drinks: Average prices
Lovely hotel, lots of history. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff were fantastic, location perfect. Food stunning. The only let down for me was the bathroom, there wasn't a door just a curtain, privacy was an issue. Stratford is brilliant and the White Swan I would recommend very highly.

Excellent stay at The White Swan. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were clean and spacious and the bed was super comfy. Best of all was breakfast. Eggs anyway you liked and a good full English along with pastries. Really recommend for value, comfort and location.
