Came here a few weeks ago whilst visiting Stratford. As a fan of Zizzi’s it was a must to visit on the trip. We came later in the evening and it was really busy, we were seated and felt a little cramped so asked to move, this was no problem for the staff and accommodated our request quickly. All staff we interacted with were friendly and had a smile on their faces! Orders were taken really quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. Our server I believe her name was Andrea was so friendly, knew the menu well and gave good recommendations based on our parties dietary and taste preferences and her service through the night really made the experience ten times better. Food portions were really good and everything arrived piping hot. This is hands down the best Zizzi’s I’ve been too, I’ve been to some where food arrives quickly but lukewarm or undercooked every time but this isn’t the case at all here. Will be back for sure when around the area again.

We went during the week for lunch and were pleased to find that there were several others eating there so the atmosphere was good. Food was OK, the antipasti was a bit short of meat and came on a pizza base. Whilst this was nice I hadn't realised this and had ordered a pizza for my main course. Staff were friendly but almost too attentive and there was hardly any time between courses. This would have been great if we had to get back to the office or off to a matinee, but didn't contribute to a leisurely lunch. Still we enjoyed our lunch.

We had a lovely meal this evening, the only thing we want to complain about is the dish our spaghetti bolognase came in was cold so our dinner went cold very quickly, this meal should be served on hot plates.

Enjoyed the food, but a beer arrived at the table we hadn't ordered so it was taken away, we asked the server if they could make sure it wasn't on the bill and they insisted it wasn't after paying we took the receipt to work out who owes what and found the £7 beer was still on there. Really disappointing, as we don't live close by.

Zizzi's is a good Italian restaurant chain, having visited two of their restaurants in Winchester and Stratford-upon-Avon. With a varied menu, good quality food and decent service I don't think you'd go wrong to be honest.

A man maybe the manager was very moody and rude. took our plates without asking and genuinely very bad treatment as i spend my money there the service should be top. have to admit one man was very kind to us

Perfectly acceptable place to grab a quick bite before watching a play at the Swan Theatre (just 2 minute walk away). Food was fine and the service was very friendly. I found that, while the plates were very hot, my food was just warm.Dietary restrictions: Have a good system for dealing with allergens

Absolutely horrible started being all rude, the waiter was nasty and treated me as if I was some type of joke. Food tasted disgusting. I felt as if this was type of nightmare.After telling me to leave I said I will leave but don’t get aggressive and she continued to be rude and disrespectful!

We have been to this restaurant for a few times. The food today was not good at all. Absolutely tastless. Staff was ok. Atmosfere ok. But based on the food experience, we have decided not to come back anymore.

Was very understanding about my food restrictions ( I have celiac disease and need gluten free). Even provided me their tablet so I could sort their menu based on my needs. Excellent service and the food was really great! They had a lot of options including dessert. Highly recommend if you're looking for a gluten free option.Dietary restrictions: Lots of options for gluten free.
