My wife and I stopped off and enjoyed a great sunday lunch at this pleasant little pub. Really was a great meal and starter. Not overpriced and a really tasty pint of ale (black sheep) too. Nice quiet atmosphere, they had 80s music playing in the background. Couldn't fault the food or anything else.

Will pop here for food when visiting family in Studley. Always good food and lovely service. They are always able to accommodate our large party. Staff are friendly and will keep you updated on current menu options. A good atmosphere with a mix of locals and visiting patrons.Kid-friendliness: Kids are always welcome for food service.

I went to this pub several times many years ago when it was part of Colm O'Rourke's Little Pub Company chain. This was the first I have been recently and I was so pleased to see how good it still is. In an age when do many pubs have closed and so many of those that remain are part of large bland chains or have gastro-pubbed, it is such a pleasure to find a good honest pub. Friendly helpful staff, decent choice of proper beers, good unpretentious pub food, pleasant atmosphere. Everything I like to see in a pub. I was delighted to see that still serve the legendary Desperate Dan cow pies harking back to the Mad O'Rourke days
