I went to this pub several times many years ago when it was part of Colm O'Rourke's Little Pub Company chain. This was the first I have been recently and I was so pleased to see how good it still is. In an age when do many pubs have closed and so many of those that remain are part of large bland chains or have gastro-pubbed, it is such a pleasure to find a good honest pub. We stumbled across this pub while our family plus dog were driving across the country to get home from our holidays. We were tired and hungry. I rang ahead and they squeezed us in. The heavens opened up and we were drenched just walking from where we had parked our car. A very friendly welcome was given us..even the wet dog!. Attended The Little Lark after reading reviews online. Quaint little pub, excellent food. Special of the day was Rib Eye steak. Really well priced, delicious, will definately go back when in the area
