This is an okay Cafe Nero in Warwick.\\n\\nThere’s the usual selection of drinks and food and plenty seating downstairs. There’s also quite a lot of extra space upstairs.\\n\\nThe staff when I visited last were friendly enough. Although it was towards the end of the day so they weren’t super enthusiastic.\\n\\nThe negatives was that the tables were not being cleared or cleaned very quickly. I had to move a tray full of cups and plates when I sat down. And the window next to me upstairs was covered in cobwebs. Which suggests not the most efficient cleaning.\\n\\nWhen I visited the bathroom downstairs (next to the stairs) the soap dispenser was empty and the front cover fell onto my hands as I tried to use it!\\n\\nApart from the fact that much of the fixtures and fittings are a bit tired, it’s a convenient coffee shop in Warwick town centre.

We have previously had good experiences at Caffe Nero and we love the café lattes there. However, unfortunately on Sunday evening we went for a drink to relax and warm up after a lovely winter walk.As soon as we walked in, we immediately felt unwelcome. The barista abruptly said across the cafe, “you two” followed by “what can I get you?” in a raised voice and rude tone. Even though we were the only ones ordering and no one else was around us. We had not even reached the counter, or had a chance to decide what we wanted to order.Once I’d ordered our drinks, he said the price, again with an abrupt tone. I asked if I could use my voucher for a free drink as I had used the final drink stamp and I had filled my voucher card. He then said “let me see, no you haven’t”. I didn’t want to argue and therefore thought I must be wrong, although I could clearly see my voucher card was already full. When I thanked him for making our drinks, there was no warm reply or acknowledgment.I have never had a negative experience with a barista at this coffee shop, or others of this chain. However, it really impacted the experience both me and my husband had on that evening. We actually decided not to stay and didn’t even feel like drinking our drinks we took out with us (they only had takeout cups that day).

Great coffee with amazing, if expensive, cakes. Nice seating area with extra upstairs to watch the world go by.

Bad service, served wrong drinks in takeaway cups despite stating we were staying in. Staff seem very under trained.

Just as their other brand Coffee#1, they use Sky wifi. Sky want all your information (even your shoe size?) to sell or for marketing. The town needs much better mobile data offering than is present for a county town, so please ? band with others to get more mobile data access. (It’s much faster than ‘free’ wi-fi).

Popped in with my daughter on Sunday and was hoping for a bite to eat, no food in the fridges so had to go without. She wanted an orange juice tiny bottle for £3.40, could get way cheaper in Greggs down the road. I settled for an iced latte, bland and again overpriced, this place is by far the most expensive no wonder it was empty and it was absolutely freezing in there!

At best this was poor customer service at worst it was an attempt to steal from a customer. I made the mistake of going to the bathroom and leaving my belongings (and half a cup of tea) on the table for less than 2 minutes. When I returned, my belongings had been taken. When I queried this with the staff member he returned my belongings which he had put behind the counter. He claimed he was simply "clearing the table". I will be writing directly to Cafe Nero and hope they will take appropriate action.

First visit in 2023 to this Caffe Nero near the Warwick Market Place. But aware of it from the 2009 and 2015 visits to the town in the past. Seating on the ground or first floors. Has The Cloud WiFi like other Nero's. View out to the Market Place. Opposite the Market Hall Museum.
