Dough & Brew

My partner and I had a great experience at Dough & Brew over the weekend. I had the vegan mac & cheese and a side of sweet potato fries, and both were fantastic. The service was fab too – attentive & timely. There was a female server who made sure I knew that a lot of their sauces are made with vegan mayo, so that if I wanted mayo, sriracha mayo, etc, I could do so. Very thoughtful! The food and drinks are also extremely affordable. 100% recommend.

Fusion Clan Warwick

I had dinner at Fusion Clan and the food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully prepared.

A special thanks to Barath for the excellent service. He was very polite, friendly, and always had a warm smile. He made us feel welcome and looked after us so well throughout the evening.

Giggling Squid - Warwick

My friend from Stratford met for lunch. We both enjoyed our meals verily much, the atmosphere was calm and the team were attentive without being overbearing.

The Boars Head

Nice country pub. Stopped here for a couple of beers on the way back to our Air bnb. Service was spot on, friendly and polite and offered a good range a beers. Food looks amazing, although didn’t eat there ourselves.

The Nelson Pub

Had a great experience at Nelson Pub recently. The food was genuinely delicious, with generous portions and great flavor in every dish we tried. You can tell the kitchen puts care into both quality and presentation.

What made the visit even better was the service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and ideal for catching up with friends or enjoying a casual evening out.

Overall, Nelson Pub offers a really enjoyable dining experience with tasty food, friendly service, and a comfortable vibe. Definitely a place worth visiting again, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and great hospitality.☺️

Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and was pleasantly surprised by how good the lunch was, hadn’t been to the peacock for years but have booked again for this Sunday, would highly recommend the food was amazing and so was the service

New Bowling Green

A lovely tradition feel pub, with friendly staff, who delivered excellent service, when my family took me there for an early Mother's Day meal today 09-03-2024. There were five adults and three children. We enjoyed a side room to ourselves, where the children could be themselves. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was superb. All home cooked and very good value for money. Looking forward to going back there soon.

The Old Coffee Tavern

Booked for a meet up with friends. Great location and super-helpful staff.
The rooms are a good size, clean and the bed was very comfortable. Good continental breakfast and nice relaxing atmosphere.
Only downside was that the rooms felt a little tired and could do with a spruce up. When we arrived there was a bit of a drain-like smell in our top-floor room. But that being said I mentioned it to the team downstairs in the bar and they clearly acted quickly. When we came back the smell was gone and never came back. I guess that just reflects on the need for maintenance, definitely not on the team running the place.

The Anchor Inn

Lovely pub. Alice and Emily were really friendly. Food was great. We were allowed to park overnight in the campervan so we'll definitely be back at some point.

The Cape Of Good Hope

Came here for a quick meal as I've been visiting at the nearby hospital, the athmosphere in this pub was 1st class, it had a cosy little bar area and a warm restaurant area.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious, I had the kiwi beef burger and it was absolutely fantastic, it exceeded any expectations I had when ordering it, it looked great and it had more than a fair price.

Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again if ever in the area

Pastelaria Portuguesa

First visit for us and we were incredibly impressed, coffee was flawless smoother than a dolphins nose and the pastel da nata was so fresh it was still warm!! Server was very friendly and could certainly make a coffee!! Highly recommended

Saxon Mill Warwick

We ate here in January with a group of 10. Richard our server was great so patient and helpful. He was also very kind with our 4 children when taking their food and drink orders.He made us all feel very welcome. The food was great although we did have to wait quite a long time for our food to arrive.

Royal Horse

Our scout group which had a festive booking, Ronan looked after us, was so lovely, we come every single year and this time was glad to be greeted by Ronan, we enjoyed every moment <3 x

The Rose & Crown

Visited the restaurant at The Rose and Crown for dinner on boxing day. Food and service was really excellent! We were a large group of 10, but staff were patient and helpful.

Unicorn

Friendly welcoming staff. Great food, steak cooked perfectly. Good location easy to find not far from the M40 better than a poor brand of burger chain. Quiet, which was expected and not a reflection. Good value for food and drinks. Didn't have a long wait even not ordering starters.

The Craftsman Café & Bar

It was our first night in Warwick on a short break and I chose the craftsman as I had seen it on TripAdvisor and read very good reviews about it.
We were made to feel very welcomed by the bar staff. I think Chris was our server and he went out of his way to make sure that we were happy and comfortable and that food was as expected.
We chose bar snacks which were very substantial in size and priced very reasonably. They were also delicious and we enjoyed them so much that we made sure we took away what remained as a snack for later.
Credit to everyone that works there the atmosphere was lovely and the seating comfortable and it was an all round enjoyable experience. .

The Durham Ox, Shrewley

Clean and tasteful decor. Several comfortable large round tables for 6-8. Interesting menu at reasonable prices. Food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious (I had trout). Staff were very friendly but could have done with one extra on duty. Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

The Art Kitchen

We had a lovely dinner at Art Kitchen. The young gentleman who served us was really nice and friendly. Food was really tasty & the restaurant and toilets were really clean. Loved the hand towels at the end…nice touch

Me and my wife dined at the Red Lion on Tuesday 17th December , the food was excellent and our waitress was Charlotte who was very friendly and always smiling , she was very efficient .

The Black Pug

Food was delicious, the team of staff were very friendly. Kieran and Alice served us our food and drink. We had a nice private room, as we were a party of 10. The food didn't come out at once, but the staff staff sorted it all out as soon as possible. We will come again in the Summer yo try the best pub garden in Warwick!

Walked past this place whilst on our way to Warwick Castle and decided to read the online reviews that seemed very positive, so decided to give the place a go.
Well I can confirm that all the positive reviews are well deserved.
This has got the best curry house I have ever visited.
The food was absolutely amazing!!!!
I went for a chicken madras, and the Mrs had a chicken normal.
Both were full of flavour, the sauce was lovely and thick, and the chicken was so soft and tender.
Poppadoms were nice and crispy and not dripping in grease like you get from other places.
Drinks were served up really quick, and the Mrs said how nice the zinfandel wine was.
The fact she had 3 glasses proved this lol
As for the staff. WOW, so friendly and welcoming.
Nothing was too mich trouble, and there was someone always stood around waiting for any table that needed anything.
The guy that waited our table was so chatty, asking us about our visit and talking aboit where we visiting from, and genuinely seemed nice bloke.
We visted on the 14th December, and thought it was a great touch that they had Christmas songs playing throughout the evening, which you don't normally get in a curry house.
On asking for the bill, the waiter came over with a Christmas card for the Mrs, which on opening had 2 x £10 vouchers to use against a future meal. This was alongside the regular mint chocolates and even free branded pens that they were giving to customers when leaving.
And let's be honest who doesn't like a freebie lol
So all in, it was without a doubt the best Indian restaurant experience that I've ever had, and I've visited probably well over 100 in my time.
So if you are thinking of visiting this place, then trust me, you won't regret it, and you can thank me later.
We aim to visit Warwick Castle again in summer 2026 to watch the birds of pray show, and we both have already said that we will definitely be returning to Warwick Spice.
Such a shame that this place is a 2 hour drive away for us, as we'd visit in a regular basis.

The Moorings at Myton

6 of us has lunch on Sunday. All dished were good. Fish and chips huge portion of fish, huge burger with chips, bangers and mash very good, spaghetti with crayfish very good.

went in and ordered chips and chicken balls, didn’t want sweet and sour sauce and the young guy offered to swap for a different sauce, I had the bbq, bloody lovely ?
all extremely hot and very tasty.
BBQ sauce was best Iv ever tasted from a Chinese takeaway
staff very friendly and helpful.
only take cash instore which is great to see as so many places are card only! Keep cash going.

Pizza Express

This place and the team Sonia and the other lady (sorry can't remember her name) are consistently friendly. The place is always clean and the grandchildren really enjoy it. Great place.

The Chip Shed - Warwick

Scrumptious lunch at The Chip Shed in Warwick. After a few hours of touring around the castle we couldn’t wait to tuck into some wholesome fish and chips and we’re no disappointed. Our fish was tasty, fresh and we helped ourselves to a few refills of awesome chips soaked up with tangy curry sauce.

Castle Balti

The food was fantastic as usual. My parents order from this restaurant almost every week however today was my mums birthday so we chose to eat in. The young male waiter (sorry we didn’t get your name!) is a credit to this restaurant! He was so hospitable with my young brother bringing him tongs to help him with his food, bringing him ice cream and lollipops free of charge. His service made our visit extra special.

Bread & Co

What an excellent afternoon I had! our waitress rosie was so lovely and attentive a nice way to spend a warm day. the food and drinks were AMAZING and it’s such a sweet cafe. defo a warwick hot spot.

A little constructive critism ...
The staff should allow you to take your seat before asking to take your drinks ordrr. 3 members of staff came to us whilst we were deciding who was sitting where we had a toddler and pram
The young lady had no idea what gins you had neither was she aware of the beers
We were not asked if we wanted any sauces to accompany our meats i.e. mustard mint sauce etc
We were not asked if everything was ok with our food

We thought there may be a number of new young staff which may need additional training
BUT we had a fabulous time and again food was Amazing

Crown Inn

Visited The Crown late on a Sunday and enjoyed a delicious roast dinner, cauliflower cheese included in the cost and not an extra and Brussel sprouts with bacon. Highly recommend and have booked again for Mother’s Day.

The Joseph Arch

We were passing nearby the village of Barford, Warwick, en route to Leamington Spa whenI remembered someone of 'Nextdoor' app saying they had a good meal at The Joseph Arch.

We went out of our way to call in for a quick lunch.

My wife and I both chose the Pie of the Day (which was Steak and Mushroom with a meaty red wine jus) with either Mash or Chips. We chose mash.

We were very happy with the presentation of the very meaty and mushroom pie with a crispy cap of short crust pastry, on a bed of shredded cabbage, Broccoli florets and perfect mashed potatoes. I have no doubt that had we chosen chips they would have been just as perfect.

It was an excellent presented pie and very filling too.
I ask myself several questions to give an overall score whether it is a Michelin starred restaurant or a pub chain.
The family run Joseph Arch sits comfortably between the pub chains and Michelin restaurants.

Value for money 5/5
I never put atmosphere for a pub restaurant because it doesn't always need an atmosphere. However, I put 5 stars because the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
We had such a good and filling meal we didn't have room for dessert which is very unusual for us.

We WILL call into this pub again even if it means making a special trip out.
Based upon this visit, The Joseph Arch is definitely worth the trip.

Black Horse

A truly lovely country pub experience, you can tell the owners have a passion for quality. Nice to not have to send a beer back like many a places. The pints of Hawkstone lager are on point! The accommodation/rooms are amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

The Roebuck Inn

Went here for lunch and it is by far the best pub food we've had for a long time. We took our 2 week old baby and were made to feel so welcome - no issues with having a larger table with plenty of space for the pram. Super friendly staff too. Would absolutely recommend and we can't wait to go back.

The Coffee Stop

Fantastic food! Delivered direct to us when hosting an open day for multiple guests. Delivered on time, friendly service, great selection on the buffet range, plenty of food! Will be using them again :) Thank you!

This community driven project is operated by volunteers. You don't have a choice of a lot of different brands here, but you will find almost anything you need for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A lot of local produce, fresh bred and really friendly staff. Please support this initiative!

Fantastic restaurant with a varied menu.
Everyone is amazing, welcoming, and accommodating.
My Grandparents are frequent guests and always rave about the place.
The owner always had time to speak to my Grandparents, and even though clearly busy, had the love to speak about good times with my Grandfather after my Grandma passed.

La Mesa

We live locally and this is absolutely our favourite restaurant to go to for a treat, never disappoints!
Each course is a delightful surprise, it feels like dining in someone's home, cosy and relaxed.
The menu is £60pp, extremely reasonable, topped up with plenty of wine :-)
Looking forward to another return visit soon!

Kineton Chippy

Came in to buy dinner for the family, we were greeted by a lovely man on the till (looked like he was training someone new) and placed an order within 5 minutes. Did not wait long to be served the food atall, and good value for money. Another male came from out the back whilst we were collecting our order and greeted us along with all other customers in the shop, some by name. We left talking about how much he suited the role and how nice it was he made the time to say hello and when we were leaving, saying to have a nice night. The man on the till wrapped our chips in foil to help keep warm as we were travelling 15 minutes which was really good and helpful. The one and only downside is there is not much space to wait. I imagine on cold or rainy nights its not great to be cramped inside or out in the cold (I did see they provide umbrella's which was nice) but I appreciate there is very little they can do about that! The chips are also gluten free which is a huge selling point for us as my mother is intollerant and has never had any issues with the food here. Would 100% recommend and will be back. Thank you!

The White Swan | Kineton

Amazing food tonight at the Swan a great variety including gluten free and kids menus too. The food had great flavour the atmosphere was great the team were working hard to make sure everyone was well catered for will definately back and so greatful to have the pub serving food! Thank you

7 Square Restaurant

A quiet Tuesday evening. The owner was running the restaurant single handedly, but this did not detract from the excellent service and exceptional food, which was cooked to order. The steak melted in the mouth, the seabass superbly cooked and the desserts were amazing. Accompanied by a beautifully dry house rose. If we lived closer it would be a regular haunt.

The Quaker Community Café

Very good coffee at a reasonable price. Fantastic range of home made scones. Full menu has not been restored yet post COVID which also applies to opening hours. Top rating for hygiene.

Great bread, cakes and pastries - all created daily with care on the premises - and all realistically priced. A local business that put’s the interests of their customers and community before profit.

New Golden Bamboo

The food on a whole tasted great.
Staff are always friendly
Phoned the order in and there was plenty of free parking nearby to pick up the order at the collection time given.

Starbucks Coffee

Absolutely brilliant service and super quick making of coffee. Coffee tasted fab. Looks like a family running it and they were so lovely!!!! The man even gave my daughter a complimentary cup of cream which made our road trip, so kind!

The Hatton Arms

If you are looking for a place where it will shock you with the views and the food this is the one you should be looking for. It is a great historical pub with lovely food and stunning view.

The Tuckery

Great service, very friendly Lady waitress and all the staff so nice and warm and friendly. The Full English Breakfast that I just had ohhh so nice so tasty so much so i forgot to take a picture ❤️. This is my second time here and I’d did impress me again really, really lovely people and experience for me.

Fantastic Garlic Bread with Cheese 99p! Amazing value on the new garlic bread with cheese. Always fast friendly staff and great offers when using the app. Love the salad boxes, especially double meat, lots of protein. Salad always fresh and tasty.

THE ORANGERY

This place is so underrated! The grounds are stunning and ideal for a walk especially with a dog . A river spanned by a classical bridge spans a beautiful lake with swans and ducks. After the walk a friendly reception with a dog friendly bar and great food and drinks . The staff especially made a simple dog walk into a lovely occasion.

Lighthorne Pavilion Café

Such a lovely cafe, and dog-friendly too. I almost don't want to recommend it to too many people for fear of not getting a table when we call in on the off-chance.
If you are a greedy-guts like me, go for the extra-large breakfast, but be warned, it is large. Still, I took one for the team and managed to finish it!

Costa Coffee

I visited Costa and ordered a mocha and a cheese & beans toastie to have inside. The mocha was excellent and had a rich flavour. However, I was disappointed with the toastie. It had very little filling and the bread was hard, which made it unenjoyable. On the positive side, the café itself has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that made sitting in pleasant.

Domino's Pizza - Warwick

Great couple of pizzas we ordered on Saturday. Customized and a difficult place to deliver, they came up 5 ????? in food and service. Management must be running a tight ship.
We stopped using Dominoes as a franchise in our local areas because the service and quality of food was reliably poor.
When visiting Warwick we have tried Papa Johns at Woodloes and it's never great. We thought we would take a chance on the Dominoes here and they are getting it right.

The Apple Tree Tearooms

A worthwhile visit in the heart of Warwick. Based on previous experiences there's a great selection of teas and sandwiches to enjoy with an outstanding view of St Mary's church or an enjoyable peaceful relax in the back garden area.

The Thomas Lloyd - JD Wetherspoon

It's Weatherspoons, if you want fancy go somewhere else!
Weatherspoon is the closest we have locally to a 'proper' pub Friendly, barstaff, £10 for Beef Madras(with trimmings) and a pint of excellent quality real ale, what's not to like about that.
