Calling this pizza would be a huge gift to the business. Cold, no toppings, no cheese or tomato sauce, garlic butter was literally a cup with solid butter in it. Do NOT order, you're better off at papa johns.

Wonderful service and food! Visited with my partner for our 5 year anniversary, the atmosphere and team are very friendly and attentive throughout, and are even very helpful with deals - Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back next time we are in Warrick!

Thursday of half term was a popular night in this pleasant half-timbered old building in the centre of Warwick. The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate both my desire to have a pizza napolitana and my dairy allergic and fussy seven year old daughter's restricted tastes.Dietary restrictions: They had a very comprehensive book full of information about the ingredients in their food

We called in here for lunch when visiting Warwick Castle (which is card-only and I prefer to use cash). It's a short walk from the Castle and you can re-enter by asking for a stamp on the way out. After a very lengthy wait to be seated my grandsons were brought crayons and a printed sheet suitable for many ages to keep them amused. Food was very nice, also the wine. I had the 'lunch special' of a kind of pizza wrap with salad which was very enjoyable for under £10 and a nice bottle of wine fortified us for the afternoon. Cash payment was happily accepted which made me very happy.

A couple of months ago our family of 4 went to PE in Birmingham where they forgot my wife's pizza and as a result she ate alone after us. Couldn't happen again surely. WRONG! Last night we decided to give our local WARWICK PE a go. So, we arrive just before 7.00pm and waited behind another couple going in. Staff went by but nobody acknowledged us or said anything for a good 5 minutes or more. Nearly at the point of walking out, the people in front were seated and so were we shortly afterwards. A waiter came over and took a very simple order of 1 starter between us and 2 pizzas and 2 glasses of wine. doesn't get much easier and he seemed to know what he was doing on his machine. The wine arrived and not for the first time in PE, with dirty glasses. Said nothing and cleaned them up with napkin's. The wine was off slightly and for the price extremely poor value. Again said nothing. Our starter arrived to share between us and that was all fine. The waiter then arrives with a pizza and 2 small plates saying we are sharing. No, we're not we said, thinking they had got confused with the starter. He then came back to ask me if I had ordered anything and I asked him to check with the other waiter but he had no record or mental recall whatsoever. The waiter then tells the other one I had ordered a completely different pizza and they walked off. I tried to call them back but they were gone so I ended up shouting a loud "excuse me" to get their attention. I told them what I had ordered but then decided that by the time they make and serve it, my wife would be practically finished, so I cancelled the order. Before leaving I asked to speak with the manager and explained the whole shoddy experience. He listened and apologised, saying he had already been told of the problem. I asked what he would do if an evening out with his wife had been ruined and he he agreed he would not pay the bill - which we didn't. Going out for a meal is an expensive business these days, but we like to support restaurants, especially local ones after COVID. That said - we don't go back if we get any bad service or food. It has to be bad for us to complain, we hate doing it, and have a lot of sympathy for waiting staff after hearing the stories our sons came back with when they were students and in hospitality. BUT, after a second missed order I had had enough with PE. They used to be good but not any more. Pay your very large bill and take your chance!

We have just visited pizza express in Warwick with two boys aged 8 and 9, one vegetarian and one vegan, there was something for everyone, adults and kids alike were satisfied and all plates were empty. While the food was fine, I would return mostly for the lovely building and the even lovelier Lauren who was very pleasant, attentive and professional, despite not having much help on a busy Saturday afternoon. Well Done, thank you Lauren.

Pizza Express’s are always a safe bet with a well known menu and easy kid-friendly options, however when we arrived on Sunday evening for dinner the abrupt waiting staff said they had a large party in, were already struggling to manage the numbers and had run out of dough!! The place seemed dead so maybe the party were in a private room, however the manner of the staff (not the chefs, who had to call the waiting staff over to speak to us) left a lot to be desired. Shame as the building is supposed to be beautiful and it would have been nice to experience it.
