Have travelled all over the UK and have now found a real Gem! Staff were very welcoming but the food was amazing! The King Prawn Balti Garlic Chilli was by far the best I have ever eaten. You must try the place as the prices were very reasonable

Found Akash by chance while on a visit to cadbury world, they were so welcoming and the food was brilliant, would love to return if we're ever visiting that area again ?

If you wanna eat in, great! But that goes for most places because you don't pay until you've finished eating. Ordered tikka masala got a vindaloo! I'm not one to complain about hot food, I like hot food but I really enjoy a masala so thats what I asked for! It wasn't even the right colour to be a masala it was brown! I ended up mixing a load of cream with it and it was still blowing my head off! Not the enjoyable experience I was looking for! Really disappointed and won't be ordering again

Been coming here for many many years. Food and service is bang on. Price is very reasonable, great amount of food. Love the place, highly recommended anyone to try here. Tawa hash Nawabi (Duck dish) fully recommended, and is my best dish.

Went here after first choice was shut,have been using it for 35-40 years,food was awesome as always atmosphere great blokes serving always up for a chat ,great variety and price

Me and my partner come here frequently and have yet to have a meal that wasn't delicious. Between us we have tried a variety of different things on the menu and they have always been very tasty. The service is good and the prices are as well. There is also a good variety of drinks available. We will continue to be regular customers here!

In town for the cricket at Edgbaston, serindipity led us for a Balti to Akash. It's many years since I've had a Balti and it was heaven sent. Beautiful in every respect. Great service and vfm too. Durham will get promoted this season so I'm hoping we'll be back next year and I can guarantee that we'll be back to this wonderful restaurant.
