Place was empty for a Friday night. We had seats next to the window but the whole place was cold! Food was fine, a couple of starters and two pizzas washed down with a bottle of wine. Wanted another drink but no staff about and the same when it came to paying.I recommend DL a voucher before going as it makes it better value.

This is the best Italian food I’ve ever had in UK. Had the lasagna and it was out of this world. Was lost for words to be honest. Great atmosphere, great service. Would come back again, any time.

Last night was the first time I have been to this particular Bella Italia, on New Street in Birmingham but it definitely won't be the last, I was extremely impressed. The meal was absolutely delicious, the service excellent and the surroundings clean and attractive. I had the sea bass, Tiramisu [to die for!] and a latte. All courses very enjoyable, cooked to perfection and good sized portions. Thanks to our waitress, I think her name was Svetlana, a very pleasant blonde young lady, who looked after the five of us really well. Two of my friends were visiting from Spain, they were impressed too. 5 stars and a big thank you for making a special night perfect.

Enjoyed an early evening meal (Monday). Restaurant was unexpectedly quiet for a city centre location. Our waitress was pleasant and we were served very quickly. Only unsatisfactory reference would be the washrooms which needed updating.

We had a very rude waiter who is also the manager - the customer service is appalling. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated as a party of 2 at lunchtime, nobody acknowledged us or the queue behind us in all the time we waited, all members of staff avoided eye contact. We then had to wait 15 minutes before anybody came to take our order as the online order system wasn't working and we waited a significant amount of time for our food to arrive. Manager was very rude and would not comply with any of our requests, eg asking for ketchup with our mains (he told us condescendingly we will have to wait a few minutes and didn't come back for 10 minutes), again when we received our dessert we asked for the bill and he told us no and that we would have to wait a few minutes. We waited for 15 minutes before going to another member of staff to pay our bill.The manager Kully was so rude and replied to every request with an annoyed sigh and ‘wait a few minutes’ and then took 10 minutes or longer. We went to celebrate a birthday and the way he treated us ruined the occasion.The food wasn’t great and portion sizes have reduced significantly. The cookie dough we paid £7.50 for used to fill the whole plate..

Use to come to this restaurant alot with my sister and loved it.Sadly it’s no longer the case.Staff friendly but our table was dirty we waited a long time for our food.My pizza was over cooked and very greasy and I left half of it.My sisters pasta dish was frozen in the middle so she sent it back and although no longer frozen it was cold she gave up on the third attempt as it was still cold.Could not see a manager about and the staff although nice were very inexperienced.Got one sorry and we didn’t pay for my sister’s food.Not as it was which is such a shame bearing in mind of its location.
