“Another great place for brunch in Jewellery Quarter. The environment looks clean, the food tastes great. There is a variery of options with very competitive prices. They also have a hidden garden behind for you to sit down and enjoy your meal. They close at 2.30pm, a lot of items become unavailable from 2pm. Though being small, Cafe Neo could become very busy in a peak period. Do plan your time before going.”

“The team at Grand Central Kitchen are Brummie Legends. They are to reasonably priced, superb quality food and service what Black Sabbath, The Streets, Ocean Colour Scene and The Twang are to music. So if you're in that part of town and peckish. Ignore the other Brummie institution that is Maccies On The Ramp and pay the team at GCK a visit. By order of the peaky blinders.”

“Great spot for our regular Saturday brunch. Keen staff and a nicely different menu. On our last trip however, the venue was cold.”

“Big fan of the vibe of this Starbucks, more student/professionals environment. I love the latte here but sometimes the results are inconsistent, I’ll get a very nice strong latte then next day one that tastes entirely of milk, does feel like a waste on those days”

“Great independent bar with an interesting range of craft beers and really cool pinball machines (new and old). An additional bonus is the Point Blank game arcade on the lower floor. The website recommends local independent food which they're happy for you to bring into here to eat as long as you're using their services - a nice touch.”

“Great spot for coffee and a snack near the station. I was in Birmingham for work and visited Faculty for a coffee before work on the first day and lunch on the second. Service was friendly and the food is simple and well executed. 'The Staple' doesn't look like much: a slice of toast, an egg, butter, salt and cheese, but it's somehow much more than the sum of its parts and was a surprisingly satisfying lunch. I tried both the peanut butter cookie sandwich and the dark chocolate cookie and both were excellent, not to mention generously sized! I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm passing through Birmingham :)”
