Arrived to shell station after work at 22.30 to top up fuel, where I’m regular customer. The cashier didn’t opened tap for fuel and just staring at me, after said via microphone pay first. The door was locked to a store. True the window he said pay first then put fuel. I inform that able to pay by card or Apple Pay and I need to scan my member car first and he still insists to pay first. How I’m supposed to pay if not sure how much would car need it?Definitely this is not the way you expect to be treating a young lady, who tired after work and looking to top up fuel before go back to work again in early morning. The same cashier served me many time earlier morning at 6:20am.Was so hard to be more loyal ?Absolutely terrible experience. Will drive an extra mile from now to another shell station and definitely to avoid the current shell.

I'm rating one start after the shock of my night today 05/02/2023 at 11:08 . I always fill up at shell 5ways at least sometimes twice a day I barely go night . Went in this guy at the window called with fingers to start with instead of using with microfone to say its pay first. I reached the window he asked how much I ll put in I said here is £100 cash I'm gonna fill as I dmt know how much and the man said to me its your car you drive you should know how much you wanna put it in , there us a petrol down the road drive there and you ll know how much you ll need to put in (with an aggressive tone.If ever I was inside the shop I garrenty I would have punch this man in the face dark Asian looking guy. When I said I'm gonna have a word with Amir in the morning his attitude suddenly chamged to a nice man about calling me brother .... I'm regular there and I know Amir a staff working that always treat me or other customers nice in front of me or sometime the girls on morning shift . After this experience I ll make sure to never reach there at night . I was baffled to be honest. I work hard for my money to spend it and I cannot accept this treatment out of the blue. Shell fix this . Take note of what I said including date and time , investigate and you ll see I'm telling the truth.

Went to add air to my tyres. Put in a pound. Realise machine is broken. I tell the cashier that the machine is broken but it's taken my pound. He tells me there's an out of order sign. I point to the machine and tell him you can clearly see no out of order sign. He persists. Eventually his head turns and he acknowledges there is no sign.I ask for my pound back. He cannot do this, he doesn't have the authority to give me a pound.I ask him to switch the machine off so other people aren't misled like me.He refuses to do this.Utterly unprofessional.

Avoid like the plague!!Came to this garage this morning to get some instant coffee. When I got to the window the guy there looked miserable from the get go. Asked him if they had any coffee. Before I even finished my sentence he SHOUTED at me “the coffee machine is broken”. I politely tried say “no I want instant coffee” but was immediately shut down again shouting at me again “the coffee machine is broken”.I then spotted one of his colleagues outside sweeping and asked him if they had instant coffee and he brought me into the shop. I found the coffee and went to the check out. The guy behind the counter again then proceeded to scream at me “get out you’re not allowed in till 6am” (it was 5:58am).I told the man he was incredibly rude and asked for his name so I could tell a member of management at a later date about this experience. He refused to give his name and as I was walking out of the shop he shouted “stupid man”.Terrible customer service and awful experience. Will be taking this up with head office.

overpriced, terrible management. Went into pay for petrol and wedges, found that they were cold and stale after eating. Place is constantly getting robbed too, dangerous. Man at counter gave me a dirty look.
Most shell garage have toilets for public use. In this she the toilet is just formal. It is always display with cleaning progress.but is is not true it is because the person on duty don't want to clean it.

Do not refuel too much, do not inflate the wheels because if you exceed the time, you will pay 60 or 100F

Every day we come here and get pies the person has fantastic customer service .... but today no pies NEW person(who seemed unintrested )working the checkout said his work load is to much what is going on Shell??? Thought it was one of your selling points. Looking forward to your responce
