Trying to get a mocha. Offered me coffee or hot chocolate, but seemed unwilling or unable to combine the two for a mocha.

Really tasty pasties from St. Just, served with a smile, just outside the Birmingham Airport train station - but for the location just like the real thing! I'll drop by again

I wanted to enjoy this, as a first savoured taste of home after 6 weeks work overseas and 24hrs of flights home, but it was just dissappointing. The Beast pasty just isn't up to the same standard as served in rival stores. Too skimpy on meat and filling, seasoning quite bland. I don't know if this is a quality control issue or a recipe issue. I understand is all about a balance of costs and expenses in a business, but my generic regular is Warrens pasties in another town are meatier, better seasoned and I think a better fat blend in the pastry.

I was served at around 09:30hrs on 29/01/19 by an extremely rude lady (I could not see her badge). First of all, I have worked in customer service so I always try to behave friendly to people doing this job. However, I was in the queue and she was complaining to the man in front, then when I ordered my drink and asked for an Americano she just said 'what' and gave me a dirty look, I said a black coffee please and could i have a small amount of water, she then came back and I said could I please have a receipt because I wanted it for work and she said "oh I dont know we will have to check if the receipt machine is working," I said "ok" and she said "oh I don't know how to print receipts - sorry" in a sarcastic tone. She really ruined my day and I'm not sure why, it costs nothing to be nice - absolutely appalling. I was devastated

There is convenience and there is tasty. The two don’t usually intersect. West Cornwall Pasty Company hasn’t corrected this balance, but what it does do is provide a “balanced” meal in one impervious, sturdy package. They offer the usual, but also throw some Vegan and Veggie alternatives too. Good on ya for offering such choice. The convenience doesn’t stop there, which is great. Fancy a coffee? Fancy a cake? Fancy some nuts? Fancy some posh de-pipped olives? You’re in luck my convenience food seeking compadre.

Very excited to see a gluten free pasty today, but horrified by the member of staff's attempt to serve it. She had taken it out of its protective wrapper and placed it on a counter covered with crumbs while I was looking for my cash. As I looked up, she was using tongs to place it in a paper bag. When I pointed out that it was no longer gluten free she didn't agree. I told her that even those few crumbs would certainly make me ill, and prevent me catching my flight out of Birmingham. She reluctantly served me another pasty, still in its wrapper, as I requested. This should be basic staff training. Hope this isn't a regular occurrence! It's what makes us coeliacs so fearful of eating out.

Dreadful sausage sandwich. Took one back and this was the best of a bad bunch. Dry boring and rock hard bread. Very very poor

On calling at this services on the way back from Ostend. We saw this was the only place to have tables to sit at. We know why. My partner and i asked for 2 jacket potatoes with chilli and cheese. The very rude response I got was there's only 1. And a 5/10 min wait So he decided on the traditional pasty I then asked for wedges. Also very rudely there's a wait. But as I was waiting for the jacket potato anyway I went with thisI was charged separately for this not as the meal deal. When I went back and questioned I was very aggressively told I didn't order the meal deal. The girl on The till then muttered under her breath and refunded the meal and charged me again. The door was left wide open and freezing whilst staff stood outside smoking and arguing who was taking what food home to there respective partners. The place emptied very quickly. My potato had been showed a spoon of chilli thank goodness for the cheese I paid extra for. The pasty was disgusting and dry. Would not go again!!
