Lovely restaurant and very accommodating. Food was lovely , slight mix up on the order however it was quickly rectified by the lovely Alice and Chef ( I didn’t get his name ) So it wasn’t an issue. Alice and the rest of the stuff were very Friendly and couldn’t do enough , would highly recommend this place.

We were genuinely underwhelmed and disappointed with our visit last night. Having dined there on several occasions in the past, last night was worlds apart from what we are used to. We were a table of 6, with 2 separate bills, we all ordered at the same time however 2 peoples meals came out and were completely finished before the other 4 meals even came out. This was highlighted to Ricky who was nothing short of rude and just rolled his eyes and walked off to the kitchen. The ladies on the floor could clearly see we were a little miffed at this situation and presented 6 shots, which was a nice gesture, however the attitude from Ricky continued. When we had finished we decided to stay for a couple of cocktails, each of which we paid for directly at the bar as there seemed to be no table service going on, we were taking our own glasses back to the bar as again this wasn't being done. At approx 9:45pm Ricky came over to our table with our bill, which initially was wrong so we highlighted this and a new bill was produced, (we weren't actually ready to leave yet but took our cue and decided not to spend any more money here) and when asked if we could split it in half he huffed and walked off, then proceeded to chat with someone else seemingly ignoring what we asked so eventually I went up to the bar to pay. A lovely lady called Caitlyn who had been doing our cocktails dealt with this, managed to split our bill into two payments with ease as requested, and apologised for our experience. We were told by other staff members that if "Ricky is in a mood, you've got no chance" and that in fact Ricky is one of the managers/owners. If this is the case, I would recommend Ricky stays off the floor when he is in one of those "moods" as a customer facing role clearly isn't for him and based on this we certainly won't rush back, which is a real shame as the food itself was nice. Perhaps Ricky can take this on board to protect his business and opt to leave the customer facing roles to the friendly, hard working females that were on the floor in future!

If you want to have a nice meal with good service, avoid this place. We went as a group for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. Start with the bar service, each time one of the party went to the bar for drinks the bar staff got at least one of the drinks wrong. When our order was taken, it was so loud in there the waitress could hardly hear, and as we were sat at a cramped table she could not get round to speak to us individually so we had to shout to be heard. Consequently, the orders were not right. One main meal and 2 sides were not brought out, and when questioned it seemed they had not been written down and it took a further 10 minutes for these to come to the table. Food is OK but certainly not worth the money they charge compared to other nice restaurants you can go to and get good table service. You may say it is a different type of place but we certainly won't be visiting again.

Great location, good food but poor & rude service. The food was rushed (arrived before the drinks) and the waiter could it wait to get rid of us.

Poor quality food, service wasn’t great & slow, then I had a £20 cancellation fee charged to my account that I had to jump through hoops to get back. There are far better places locally to eat, & I most definitely won’t return.

Fab service from Allana once again. Great food, conversation, and she remembered us. She’s one of the best servers we’ve ever had anywhere we’ve been. So attentive, friendly, and wish her all the luck with her future. Highly recommended.

First and last time to visit this works canteen, they put the plates and cutlery at the end of the table to be passed down at the prices charged this should not be. The food is overpriced bland main course with poor service. Rated 31 of 50 restaurants in the area shows the quality of what you get. If I had read the TripAdvisor reviews first I would have refused the invitation from friends.

We travelled up from London and met 8 locals in the restaurant and we had the most wonderful meal, the curries and mixed grills were served hot and fresh. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Visited at lunchtime with colleagues and ordered individually at the bar. When one of our party ordered the wrap meal, the waitress serving advised it was on promo with a free coffee or mocktail. This offer was taken up and the waitress advised she’d bring the bill over separately for that order. The wrap meal is £9.45 on the lunch menu, so you can imagine our surprise when the bill was £15. This was queried with the waitress who said “that’s what I was told it was”. We again said she’d mentioned the promo and that the bill was clearly for the full price meal at £9.45 and mocktail at £5.55; she just stared at us. We had to insist she go and check with the manager, only to come back and tell us “£15 is the evening price for the wrap meal, so that’s the promo. We charge the evening price and that makes the drink free”. Well no, it really doesn’t does it? 1. How is charging the evening price at lunchtime a promo? 2. The lunchtime meal price and mocktail is £15, so no different to the evening price for the wrap on its own. 3. Why is the evening price over £5 more than the lunchtime price for the exact same food? 4. The wrap isn’t even listed on the evening menu - only lunch and takeaway. So where’s the pricing come from!?

First and last time. The food quality was very poor at expensive prices. Food was bland, cold and tasted cheap, staff was told but didn’t seem bothered. The cocktails was disgusting and again just left. A bad £28 ( one course for one person with a cocktail which was terrible) wasted. To top it off, used the toilet after to find first toilet blocked, 2nd one with all the floor flooded & :rd one would not flush….,,,again staff was told. Do not waste your money
