Gave me a great deal on the peri wings, which are the best. The staff are very friendly and kind and look after you. I have used them for years and will do in the future. I would highly recommend anyone passing through Sedgley to try them. You will not be disappointed.Parking: Parking is to the right of the fish shop.

Absolutely disgusting service, asked for a fresh Doner meat in naan, what I received was Doner meat that was cut beforehand and put into a plastic carrier bag which was tied up and a naan bread that was warmed up in the microwave for 10 seconds. If I could give this place a zero star I would. Unfortunately , that is not available. Also the meat was freezing cold would never go again. Portion size was terrible. Ended up in the bin. Absolutely terrible.

Great local chippy, the battered chips are my favourite!! Always bring joy to dinnertime as they taste fantastic!! Portion size is great and value for money!

First visit to this takeaway. The place is always busy when I've driven past, but to be honest, the fish and chips were both tasteless. The unhappy looking member of staff didn't seem to understand when I asked for a portion of fish and chips and asked if I could have them wrapped in just paper.
Just ordered off deliveroo food arrived piping hot and there was an extra bag which read, a free sample of our new piri piri chicken enjoy! It was absolutely beautiful, chicken wings and mini fillets never ordered from here but will definitely do so again in future, plain chips lovely too.

Well what can I say! Strolled down here for a chippy dinner while visiting my children's great grandma and wow. These chips are amazing. Service was exceptional and toilets were cool. Fish was a great portion and a generous load of perfect chips. Cooked up some great spring rolls for the wife too as she don't eat meat you see. Next time I hit the sedgley streets i will definitely be coming back. Taste of plaice long live.

I've been coming to Tasty Plaice for many years. We've only ever had 1 poor meal from here but tonight's surpasses that by miles.We had 1 medium fish (£5.50) that was so dry it must have been cooked twice. The batter was hard and crunchy, utterly revolting. The roe was cold and the plain unbattered chips were hard, dry and also cold. The only part decent thing were the 2 pieces (very small pieces) of SF chicken. This travesty of a meal cost £15. We won't be going back.Their pizza is brilliant but never again for the fish and chips.
