Been here a few times normally as someone had booked it. Food generally isn’t great, apart from the chilli chips which are amazing. Last time we came the waiter dropped some food off the mixed grill and he picked it back up and put it back on the plate bare handed (hope he had clean hands). This was the table next to us and I don’t think they noticed. Currys aren’t up to much, especially butter chicken which is like tomato soup. Wouldn’t recommend.Parking: Plenty of free parking on the waterfront outside.

Lovely food, great service, very attractive venue but a rowdy group of customers made it feel a bit like sitting in a pub to eat your meal. I know this is not an issue caused by the venue and it wasn't too bad for us as we were a group of friends out for a meal but I would now not choose this venue for a quiet meal.

Probably more atmosphere if you are in a group rather than a couple but the food is first class. We will definitely visit again next time we come this way. The menu was varied with a lot of vegetarian dishes as well as meat, we had lamb and it was so tender.

Very loud music. TV at end of table. Nothing like stopping the art of conversation. The meal was pleasant but nothing like I would have had from elsewhere.....a different experience!

Went there last night, I know it was a Friday night but the music was too loud ,even staff agreed. Its a restaurant not a night club. We've eaten there before and the food was amazing but last night even the keema matar was so spicy hot that you couldn't taste it. Not

if average is what you want average is what you will get. Very disappointed with the meal. We were out celebrating a special birthday we were served what felt like microwaved meals all bland lacking anything inventive. I had the mixed grill which initially looked appealing when sizzling but when I tooked into the meat was rubbery, tasteless and was not fresh. The menu was very limited and missed alot of the classics you would normally see. safe to say we will not be going back.

If you like tomato soup over chewy cuts of chicken and stale chewy poppadomsthis is your kinda place! This is what I got when I ordered the masala, very overpriced microwave meal deals. Ordered the pizza for my son and literally got a chicigo town pizza.......... Honestly I'm not even joking and they couldn't even cook that properly. The menu is very limited, like chicken curry or curry chicken or even chicken with curry. After all said and done the bill came and all felt very deflated and wished that we went somewhere else.
Took them 20 minutes to get our drinks order, then another 40 to bring drinks over. Then someone took our food order even though we had asked several times for someone to take the order. No apologises from staff. Food then took another hour to arrive, and 1 meal was missing. Had to wait for that to be cooked. The food, even though some had asked for it to be mild, wasn't. Drinks runs were horrendous. Took far too long. Understaffed and no apologises. Will not be going back

Really disappointed with the overall experience. Our table was not ready when we arrived. Once seated we ordered 3 drinks and water for the table which took nearly 30 minutes and me asking twice before they arrived at our table. Food took over an hour, when there’s a time limit on the table this is less than ideal. Around half an hour after our food was served a waitress came over and asked if we wanted any take away boxes and began clearing the table even though we had obviously not finished. Service was not great, apart from painfully slow our waitress was borderline rude at times.

Ate here two weeks ago and was prompted by email to leave a review, and I felt obliged to.Staff were literally rushed off their feet. It was so busy and so short staffed, the first thing the serving staff said as we were seated from our booking was “I’m going to shoot myself”. And continued throughout the night with comments like “Look what I have to deal with” and “Welcome to my world” all while huffing. Very unprofessional.I was encouraged not to have the mocktail containing mango as that would require “getting a mango from the kitchen and puréeing it which takes a long time” which is absurd to have it on the menu if it is too much effort. Nobody on the bar and a huge queue all evening which was loud and detracted from our meal with children running around the table, the doors constantly opening and closing and the queue blocking the staff and route to the toilets. Starters were nice aside from scalding my hand on the sizzling metal plate trying to stop it falling off when waiter overloaded the table and had to run my hand under the tap in the toilets as I couldn’t get assistance, the chicken tikka masala for mains was far too strong with tomatoes almost like the sauce was made using a Heinz tomato soup. The poppadoms and sauces were very nice and the waitress I really felt sorry for as she was clearly trying to just stay afloat and she was awarded a tip for her troubles. The bill was reasonable but for the quality of food were we’re expecting, not for the quality of food we had.Shame as was recommended there by a friend. Maybe will go back on a quiet night and give it one more redeeming chance.

Plentiful portions and tasty.we had quite a long wait for our main but we were a big party of 28. A little loud and bustling, good for a group but probably not so much for a couple looking for a romantic or intimate setting. Staff very friendly and

I'M ADDING THIS ON AFTER JUST SEEING THE FALSE RIDICULOUS REPLY THE MANAGER HAS GIVEN. YET MORE LIES. WE WERE THERE SATURDAY 13TH. A BIG PARTY OF US . YOU KNOW WHO WE WERE.JUST ABOUT SAYS IT ALL.!!!!!I wouldn't even leave 1 star if i had a choice.Absolute disgrace of a place. They can't cope when busy. Have to wait hours to queue and order food and drinks. The staff lose their temper when the card machines break. They rip you off with drinks so PLEASE check your receipt. They will overcharge you and make you pay for drinks you haven't even ordered.Tables left full of dirty dishes, left over food and cutlery.Obviously managed by greedy people who put profits before their staff and customers, through deceit. Disgusting.Trading Standards need to pay a visit.
