Batter was cardboard. Chips were OK. Seems like they have alot of fake reviews, if you want food that's been kept from the night before then this is the place for you. Change or go out of bisness.

I haven’t used another fish and chip shop other than the Rock Fryer in years however, I called in for fish and chips this weekend and I was shocked with how poor the food was. I ordered a large fish and large chips and a saveloy. The fish was thin and covered in thick greasy batter that wasn’t cooked inside so was soggy. I wouldn’t have said there were enough chips for a small portion, let alone a large portion. The saveloy was cold. Unfortunately the service was really slow as the staff were more interested putting together Deliveroo orders.

£24 for 3 bags of greasy chips a supposed large kebab meat, which could’ve passed for a small. Absolutely disgusting. Last time I shop there.

No worry with waiting an hour or lack of sauces ordered. The fact the chips tasted like they were cooked yesterday and the chicken meat non existent made me write this review.Poor quality

This place is an absolute joke £7.50 for a kebab and chips special comes in a box the size of my hand barely a cone of chips and a few slices of kebab meat this place needs to sort itself out or it won’t last much longer total
Didn't even get to eat as £8 for a bag of chips and two small curry sauces is outrageous. Walked straight back out again.

Ordered 2 large mixed meat on nan breads..I have seen these being prepared for other customers in the past and they were massive..Ours came and was served on a thin wrap with very little mixed meat, hardly any salad and both stone cold..The tinned roe was also freezing cold. Had to microwave the whole meal..even though the shop is only 300yds from where we live..£26 wastedWill not be ordering again.

Food is good its a shame they like to give you yesterdays chips for the price i expect fresh if you cant get your quantity n quality control correct and have to reheat simple potatoes then dont run a chip shop serious let down we pay for fresh so expect fresh

This is one of many few go to places. The fish and chips are delicious ?Great prices. There's even a set special budged menu and a children's menu. I've never been disappointed. They do a selection of burgers meals and kebab meals.
