The supervisors on the checkouts are very rude and unhelpful. Again purchased something fresh to find out it went out of date 9 days ago. This is not the first time at thus branch.

Absolutely disgusting, do not buy fruit from here my daughter found a baby caterpillar in a Raspberry, it is getting even more vile from this supermarket.

Coffee machine at ground floor makes a decent coffee at a good price however it is at all times decommissioned/ out of order with the alternative being to get the same coffee from upstairs that tastes worse and it costs double the price. If it ever works you have to wait for a guy from a different department to come and replenish the milk sugars etc that may as well take more than an hour!

I'm currently in a cast and visited today with my husband to go food shopping. Not only were the staff very accommodating and helpful in supplying me with an electric scooter to get around, a very special thanks to Richard in the self service area who went above and beyond the "Here To Help" slogan as he even wheeled me in my wheelchair out to my husband's vehicle, as my husband was pushing the shopping trolley.A great service, a great team. Many Thanks Richard! So fed up with this store and the attitude of the staff. I always prefer to use the 'Scan & Go' facility provided as I can pack my shopping as I go and don't have the hassle of queuing at the checkouts, but I'm constantly finding no scanners available and having to go and find a member of staff to ask for them, usually they then turn up with a basket full. This morning was no exception, 10.00 and no scanners, spoke to a staff member who just said " they must all be out" when I could clearly see them in the racks by the tills near where she was standing, all waiting to be put back in scanner port by the door for charging and to be available for customers. Obviously the staff can't be bothered to collect them up and carry them those few metres. When I'd finished shopping the gate to the "Scan & Go" tills was closed, so had to negotiate the queue of people waiting for the self scan tills who thought I was Tring to jump the queue. As I had bought energy drinks I needed a staff member to confirm my age, so then I was one of 5 people waiting for the one staff member to do this, needless to say that I will be doing my shopping elsewhere in future. Maybe the store managers should get out on the shop floor more, not in the roving packs (suppose there's safety in numbers in case a customer approaches them, God forbid) you usually see them in and actually see the problems customers have, but then they might not like what they see and hear.

Hellooooooooo management, aisle 21 towards the end on the right hand side. 3 boxes of croissants out of date, one box expired (not bbe, but exp) since Dec 2023 and rest since 1st of Jan. This is an item children are most likely to eat pls remove from shelf. I told a girl on the shopfloor and she told me it’s not her department and she doesn’t know who is in charge of that department, she didn’t even want to see what I am talking about ??

Why have you started closing the shop at midnight? I often finish work after that and need to get some shopping late at night. This is really inconvenient for customers who work late shifts in their jobs. Please return to being a 24 hour shop.

Pretty awful supermarket. You're very lucky if you can find a trolley and baskets are never available (always stacked up in self-service rather than at the front of the store). The shelves are always half empty and the whole store just feels a bit dirty. There's simply not enough staff and I feel sorry for the clearly overworked people working there. They've recently removed their dedicated customer service area so you now have to use the already too busy cigarette counter and unfortunately the staff here have not been trained at all. I tried to exchange an empty SodaStream gas canister for a new one, which is a service all UK Asda stores offer (you bring back the empty one, pick a new one off the shelf and get a discount for bringing back the empty which Asda send off to SodaStream). I've used this service at this store several times with no issues, but since they've removed the customer service area, the staff have absolutely no idea what they're doing, instead trying to charge me for two canisters and saying I need a receipt, which makes no sense whatsoever. I tried to explain the process to them but gave up after being stared at blankly for five minutes. It would take a matter of minutes to train the staff on this. Not the staff's fault that they haven't been trained, but shows a serious case of poor management. On top of the above, I'm actually finding that even Waitrose is cheaper to do my weekly shop. Asda are the worst when it comes to price gouging and their loyalty scheme is very poor.

The old woman with red hair tips at the service kiosk by the door today was rude. Just simple questions answered in such a poor manner.

I had really bad experience down there today. Very rude and unprofessional services At till. After that I went to customer service desk and there was so rude and unprofessional service’s. Then I decided to return all items and get refund so not to do shopping there. The person on the desk call someone else to take over and they came with very rude face and wasted my time. All because I had a voucher and I wanted to spend it. At the end not apologise no nothing.Definitely not willing to go back there and I will not recommend.
