We were a large lunchtime party of 18. Pre order was sent. Some wanted 2 courses , some 3 courses. When we arrived no starters came out just mains. It could have been a disaster but manager Tracey was quick to come over and apologise. Explain there was a new system. Offer to cook starters asap. I said no we'd skip straight to mains. She then offered free desserts and proceded to take the 18 orders using my named spreadsheet. Apologies , humour and ensuring the siruation was rectified...read full review
We attended for Breakfast with Santa. We attended last year too and by far the best breakfast with Santa experience. Staff cannot do enough for you and it was an added extra touch with the craft activities too. Will be booking again for next year.

Spent the evening at the Red Lion tonight for some dinner and to take part in the pub quiz/bingo. Was served promptly at the bar, and ordered 5 meals. The meals came out quickly and were of extremely high quality, the chicken tikka was lovely, and the southern fried chicken burger was particularly good. Pub quiz was very enjoyable with a great host, Andy Watson. He was funny and engaged with the crowd well!
