The worst fish and chips I've had the fish was grey coloured it definitely wasn't fresh and cost £10 never go there

We called in at 13.30 when they close at 14.00 our food was hot and very nice, shame they are not closer to home, but we will be back.

Well that was pretty bad. Chips were absolutely terrible. It was like eating wood splinters. The saveloy was watery and tasteless. I think the salt and vinegar is rationed because there was no trace of any on the food.Never go back

Since handing over from the excellent family run business here before, the new guys are also friendly and helpful. They’ve also kept the gluten free fryer going with fantastic options.Dietary restrictions: Fantastic gluten free fish and chips

When you step foot into this chip shop you feel like you are the customer from hell, the shop owner stares at you as if to say "how dare you come into my shop!" It seems as if the woman serving behind the conter has been kidnapped and forced to work there, she doesn't smile, she has hate in her eyes and only talks when spoken to! The atmosphere in this shop is like stepping into a dog fighting pit with two angry dogs! I'd rather eat a raw potato than go back into this shop! Avoid like the plague

Busy site excellent food and good service, lacking in variety of fish, no haddock......cash only, however excellent pricing.

Fish and chips freshly cooked, tasted absolutely fine. I've had better but I've definitely had worse. I'd have no problems with getting food from there again.

Had a fish & chip supper with mushy peas for 2 last weekend, the service was excellent, everything was cooked to order as it was around 8.45pm had to wait 10 minutes but it was absolutely worth it, great size fish crispy batter huge portion of chips and perfect mushy peas, overall 5 stars it was lovely and we will be back soon as we live 14 miles away, however we visit this chippy everytime we are in the area.

Very disappointing, chips only warm, seems like they had been standing for ages fish batter too thick and soggy.Fish and large chips.

Overpriced and tiny portions, I've never seen a spring roll so small, it was like a party spring roll, the kebab and chips was cold and was £6 for less that a child's portion, wouldn't recommend.
