The food here was delicious and the service was great. Highly recommend Nicki’s Fish Bar, definitely give it a go.

Have been going to Nicki's for years but last time was very disappointed, the fish was dry and batter hard and overcooked, I suspect it was reheated from lunch time, at £10.50 for fish & chips I expect better.

We drive past many local chip shops to come visit Nicki’s. The food is fantastic and nothing comes close locally. They really care about the quality of their food too which is rare these days.

Ok so after recommendations i tried this chippy2 mixed kebabs no salad....Got 5mins away to try my kebab! Saturday night 6pmOnly to find cold chicken with dry donner meat on top! Chicken out of bowl and microwaved !Id check your microwave is actually working.The worst kebab by far!!!

The quality of the food is still excellent but the portion size has gone terrible six pound for a donner kebab more salad than meat poor,and the prices is extortion £3.20 for chips the dearest in the area absolute rip off!!!!

never had any problem before... but i ordered roe and chips special with curry sauce,,,,,got home..no curry sauce...it wasnt nikki...it was one of the staff....yet I would have come back but the roe and chips were rather cold by the time I got home...so coming all the way back just for curry sauce wouldn't have made things better

Absolutely disgusting asked for donner meat and chip they microwaved my donner meat when there was some on the rack that i could of been given instead they microwaved some in a tub and slopped in ontop my chips tasted horrible and made me throw up put me off donner meat for a long time, this is the only chippy that ive seen microwave my kebab. ive read your bad reviews and your sarcastic apologies i wonder what your going to say about microwaving donner meat ?? id give 0 stars if possible
