After moving to the West Midlands from North Lincolnshire 18 months ago we have sampled a few ‘local’ chippies and this is certainly the best we’ve had. I really liked the fact the food was cooked fresh to order and we didn’t walk into a top box full of food that could’ve been sat a while. Also very pleased to get some scraps (or batter bits as I’ve learned they’re called here). All the staff were extremely friendly too. Will certainly be returning ???.

How an establishment has the nerve to charge these prices for these portions I don’t know. 16 quid for a large cod and chips served in a ten inch box with a 6 inch fish that would be a mini fish anywhere else, over a tenner for kebab meat and chips in a 6x6 box as big as the palm of my hand the same size as the kids cod bite meals. 48 quid total one fish and chips two kebab meat and chips and two kids boxes. Quality is ok and it’s the only chippy in town open on a Sunday. Feel robbed.Review deleted from just eat somehow. Unreal.

Can't believe how expensive this chip shop has got. 3.50 for a small portion of chips. And yes very small portion. See attached. Will not be returning! Rip off. Chips were also luke warm, I live less than 2 mins away! So served warm!

I ordered 2 x large kebab meat and chips, curry sauce and a small cod. It came to £27 which I thought was quite expensive compared to other local chip shops. We had about half of the kebab and chips and couldn’t eat any more as it was so greasy. Also the small cod was very small but nice. Overall it was not worth the money and we won’t be going again ☹️

I'm shocked at the price on Sunday night, 1 large fish and small fish that was so small , 1 roe that was a tin one nothing there and chips £24, you had to pay before they cooked them the small fish was just a joke, I wouldn't go back again,£24 ?? I'm shocked your still open, I will definitely be going to hooked on fish in the future sorry

£9 for a kebab in pitta. 100% microwaved pitta, pretty certain microwaved kebab meat. Smallest kebab in my life and most expensive! I asked if there was more meat in the pitta than the wrap, id hate to see the wrap. £9 lumch still
