Just had a lovely birthday meal here. The atmosphere is really comfortable, the staff are really pleasant and helpful. The food was superb. We will definitely be eating here again

We booked a table for a birthday party on Sunday 29th May and unfortunately after ordering our drinks and choosing our food, we were then told there would be a 90 minute wait on food. One member of staff who was clearly at his wits end made some petulant comment to my party. Whilst I appreciate the team member was probably sick of the questions regarding food times, I think a simple acknowledgment that the kitchen was busy because of XYZ.It would’ve been helpful and more beneficial for the staff to advise people ordering drinks from the restaurant area that there was a wait on food. The actual wait on food wasn’t the issue; it was the lack of communication from the team behind the bar. It’s a real shame, the food coming from the kitchen looked delicious but we went elsewhere instead.

Visited here yesterday with my family, lovely food. However, I was appalled the next day after my child used the stag facility’s. When a member of staff approached her, shouting and stood in the way of the door. She was later verbally abused and the lady was very irate (that my child had used the toilet). She had tried to explain that this was a misunderstanding & will not happen again. But she continued to get more aggressive. My child felt quite intimidated and we were embarrassed. We were regular customers, but at no means will I be visiting this pub with my family again. I would advise anyone with children to do the same to avoid children being in a vulnerable situation.

Never again visiting here. The management are awful, rude and have zero tolerance to young families. The meal we ordered was cold and had hair in the salad. No refund given and a s”shrug of the shoulder” from the assistant manager when we returned our food. I feel for the young staff that work there. Avoid this “restaurant”

The pub had a modern vibe. The service was excellent even though it was quite busy. It was easy to order via the app and all the drinks and food came promptly.

If you can't cook a steak as requested then don't bother offering it. I asked for a steak blue with my mixed grill and not only did it come out when my family had nearly finished their meals but it came out medium rare at best when I asked for blue! Couldn't eat it. Told the staff and no one has even apologised to me or anything. Very disappointed!

Been coming here for a few years now and always enjoying the food. Especially the Italian chicken thingy with the salad . We'll went the other day it was covered in spicy sala rubbish with cheap plastic cheese you put on a burger !!! I asked for salad with no dressing still came with dressing they did change it . it's not as if they didn't have cheese as they put it on the garlic bread so why put nasty plastic cheese on my food !!!The Italian chicken used to be lush now its disgusting. The kids had pizza a microwave Chicago town one the microwave ones you get 2 min a pack 2 mins in microwave !!! Kids did not enjoy it at all why not get some fresh smaller pizzas for the kids they sell them in blood asda for about 80p ffs would have tasted much better. My partner had the cheese and tomato pizza he said it was rank and couldn't eat it. The only good thing we had was dessert that actually tasted like it should. Definitely not coming back here .

Had a mixed grill at the stag yesterday. The staff behind the bar were very polite and helpful. Quick ordering and the drinks were brought to the table. The food came after about 15 mins on a hot skillet. All of the meat was cooked exactly how i like it and very tender. The staff came over to make sure everything was fine and if we needed anything else. I would definitely recommend this place for unbeatable value and service
