We stayed at Grace and Savour for a special occasion, and it was incredible! The service was impeccable by all the staff, including a warm welcome by Anette and tasting meal with head chef David. The decor is stunning, with such high quality materials used, with a lovely relaxed feel to it. We immediately felt welcomed and at ease. We loved the welcome drink and snack, and little touches in the room, which are so thoughtfully considered. The tasting menu was absolutely incredible, each dish a complete delight and perfect portion sizes. The team during dinner were all so attentive; we were very lucky to be sat at the chefs table, which was amazing to see the care that goes into the food. Breakfast delivered to the room the next day was again delicious, with lovely local produce used. I so hope we can visit again as we had the most amazing time and will carry fond memories of our stay here.

The restaurant decor is the first thing that strikes you as underwhelming. The curtains are drab and the music blaring in a sparsely populated dining room (it was Wednesday tbf) was annoying. The food was good with some dishes setting your taste buds alight. The ethos behind the food was even more commendable. Their philosophy of farm to table using organic local produce is a step in the right direction. However it didn't make it as memorable as the previous restaurant Peels that was in the manor. The service was good in parts but lacked warmth and detail. The sommelier felt reading off a script and their drink choices weren't coherent in some dishes. After the dinner was over it was a struggle to get a taxi as the place is set inside a manor and the approach isn't straightforward. The restaurant could do with a waiting area or a lobby instead of us stuck in the cold guiding our taxi.Overall, it may be a decent place to visit for some (especially if you go by reviews from food critics) but in my view it lacked the warmth in service and coherence in the dishes you'd expect from a Michelin starred restaurant

G&S offers locally sourced, good quality food in the grounds of Hampton Manor. The team offered a polite and non intrusive service allowing you to kick back, relax and enjoy!

A Birthday treat of a 12 course tasting menu at a Michelin Star restaurant sounds fantastic but simply wasn't. The service was excellent and wine flight matching the food was truly brilliant. The food itself was a complete let down, the first 4 courses quite good then it went downhill, Scallop dish was so salty it was inedible, the fish course was simply dull and tasteless and venison dish was cold, sauce was dull and the vegetables just an earthy inedible kale ball. All that for £561 for 2 people.

Absolutely sensational dining experience. From the beautiful restaurant setting to the service and food, everything was top class. We had the 15 course tasting menu which lasted 3 hours, every dish was fabulous. The front-of-house staff made everything looked effortless but it was clear that a lot of thought and detail had gone into the execution of the service (just like the food). This is how fine-dining should be done. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food and service. We had a wonderful evening sitting at the Chef's Counter. The Classic wine flight was superb and matched the dishes perfectly - both for a vegetarian and a meat eater. The front of house staff and chefs were very friendly helping to make a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Great staff, outstandingly presented tasting menu. Good wine flight. Highly recommended for a posh nosh place. Cool decor. Prefer this to main house.

Had the 15 course taster menu for our anniversary. Every bite was incredible, packed with flavour, innovative and exciting.

Words cannot describe how delicious this tasting menu was. I have had a few in my time and this was by far the best I have eaten. The atmosphere is relaxed, inviting and exciting. 15 courses didn't feel like 15 courses as the kitchen and waiting staff worked like a well oiled machine and you weren't left waiting in between each course for ages (like I have done with other tasting menus). Thank you chef David Taylor and team, I will be back!

This was my third time using this restaurant and the first two was very pleasant although I thought was a little expensive. My third visit was disappointing and in my opinion was not what I expected, Food was ok and was in my opinion totally overpriced, I don’t think I would make a forth trip.

Stayed at Grace & Savour for my husband's birthday. From beghinning to end this was a lovely experience, the staff were all incredible, so welcoming and friendly. The tasting menu was wonderful, each course tasted delicious. My only complaint was that I had made it clear on my booking that I'm a Pescatarian and although there were 3 delicious fish courses in the tasting menu, when my husband had 3 meat courses, I was given vetetarian courses and II'm not a vegetarian! It meant that out of the 15 courses I only had 3 fish and the rest were vegetables which was a real disappointment. We stayed overnight and the room was beautiful and breakfast was served in a hamper brought to the room and was delicious too. Would love to return but sadly we wont as there was no pescatarian option on the menu.

Fantastic venue and wonderful service. But the experience overall was only average. We’ve been to many fantastic restaurants and for the price, this one was a disappointment. The selection of drinks is poor, there are no cocktails except for some pre mixed cans, which is really a let down. The food was nicely prepared, and the prevention was super… but none of it blew me away. I certainly wouldn’t return. The price was exceptionally high. Even more than opheem for example which was miles better.
