Sunday lunch with a twist! I recently visited for Sunday lunch at Smoke, and was amazed at the quality of food, hospitality of the staff, and the cozy atmosphere in the venue.Set in a small building, Smoke looks very unassuming from the outside (but is set in very picturesque grounds). What an excellent meal, the best this year and we have visited several Michelin Starred restaurants during the period. We had a five course taster menu in the main hotel as 'Smoke' was having a refurb. Stu Deeley is able to produce incredibly flavoursome dishes without all the fuss! All five courses were just excellent and it is hard to pick one out, but the scallop dish was just amazing, so simple yet so delicious. An amazing experience with many exciting dishes served by knowledgeable and helpful staff an absolute delight! One of the chefs gift at the start was a delicate crispy cup of creamy cheesy heaven, just the start of a wonderful foody journey, loved it!
