Whenever I go to the NEC for an event, this is the go to place to grab a bite to eat. Staff are very polite and friendly, food comes quickly and the atmosphere has always been welcoming.A friend of mine lost a bag while attending an event, and this spoons was so helpful by keeping the bag safe for us to come and pick up! We were greeted at the door by a lovely member of staff who introduced herself as Li, and she truly was our hero that night. My friend’s things were safe and I look forward to coming back next time I’m at the NEC!

Food was awful compared to other Wetherspoons I’ve been to, poorly cooked and small portions in comparison. Had a vegan breakfast which was served with non-vegan butter. Staff are rude. Not worth your money.Vegetarian options: Don’t seem to understand what a vegan is.

After using spoons for many years all around the country this has to be the worst.Half the seats where closed and only two bar staff for serving drinks and taking food orders. Took over ten minutes just to get drinks only to be charged extortionate prices.Definitely a Saturday job attitude from bar staff and management with limited experience or interest. Management didn't seem to care about customer service or the general condition of the front of house.Do your reputation a bit of good, just close the place and concentrate on your other locations.Certainly will not be returning and do not recommend. Rather wait and go to The Dragon in the city.

It’s a Wetherspoons. The brand literally focuses on making sure you get exactly the same service and product which ever Wetherspoon you go to. So once you reviewed one you reviewed them all. This particular Wetherspoons is located inside the Birmingham National exhibition centre and it is very well located in relation to lots of the exhibiting halls. We often use it when we are there for having meetings over a coffee which are obviously unlimited refills or maybe some lunch if we’re feeling peckish.

Really needed a sit down and relax before the train home. Found a table easy enough and it was relaxing but the price at this place was a shocker! £6.25 for a draught cider, compared to £3 in other branches. Food menu also double the regular price and limited. I didn’t stay long.

Do not bother! Tiny little place, far reduced menu and double the price of a usual Wetherspoons. Breakfast is £13.75 at the time of writing! Looked at the menu and left straight away. Oh and it doesn’t have toilets either, you need to walk further round the NEC for
