Visited NEC today for the Classic Car Show and decided to try to get some lunch at Wetherspoons. Despite the huge queues and packed tables we were lucky enough to eventually get a table. Ordered our food on the app which arrived much quicker than anticipated. The food was hot, fresh and delivered by extremely friendly and efficient staff. Shockingly bad. Just went in for coffee with my daughter and got completely ignored by staff who were sat around talking and swearing? We ended up having to walk out as I didn’t want my three year old listening to that at 8am on a Sunday morning. Utterly disgraceful. Think they need to consider employment elsewhere.

All round Nice place. However, after queuing for quite a while was informed items were not available. Had to leave queue to find what my party wanted. Returned to till, to order, but staff ignored me & carried on chatting. Eventually ordered & received food a short while later. Food was acceptable, but not special. Captive audience syndrome?
