I have been coming here, on and off since 1995, but haven't been for a number of years since my father in law passed. Then, as the George & Dragon it was your typical black country pub and always very busy. Times have changed, and now it appears to concentrate on the weekend trade, complete with food and entertainment.I am guessing that it is usually very quiet at other times. I took a photo of the lounge last Saturday lunchtime. We were there for an hour and a half and during this time the only ones in the place. We would have had something to eat but unfortunately they couldn't offer food of any description.I appreciate it's tough times and apparently getting tougher for the hospitality industry but there are some pubs that seem to be thriving which are not Wetherspoon's.I would hate to see it go.

On arrival me and friend went straight into the toilet we just went for a quiet drink after work and we were followed in there by the owners and accused of doing cocaine just because we had hoodies and hats on and they put there hands on us before they realised that we was not doing any sort of drugs then later on the night my friend said to the owners son that it was out of order and we wouldn’t be coming back and the three men just switched on him and these are the people that are supposed to make you feel safe walking on there premises
