62 Oldbury Rd, Rowley RegisOrdered takeaway here for the first time and got the lamb kofte. My partner chose the lamb kebab. The meat was fresh, tender and flavourful and the bread was soft and warm. Will definitely order from here again!

Would have been 4 stars had it not been for them. Salad was limp and uninviting. Chips were good. Apple crumble was delicious and again there was a large portion of it. Will definitely go again.

360 Oldbury Rd, Rowley RegisOrdered the chicken tikka nagga, the chef called and asked if this is what I want. It didn't disappoint, mega tasty and spicy. Loved it. My go to now is the north Indian garlic chilli chicken or tikka chilli masala. Beautiful.

The owner even gave me extra chips for free out of kindness 10/10 experience would recommend, brilliant till workers.

63 Birmingham Rd, Blackheath, Rowley RegisThere's been a few restaurants in this building and I have only just noticed yet another name above the door.
Internally it's pretty much as was.
A very friendly welcome was a good start. So were the poppadoms, for some reason I enjoyed them more than I usually would, perhaps it was the generous chutney tray.
The sheekh kebab could have been a bit more flavoursome but it came on a sizzler with copious onions, and the mince was finely ground.
I had a very enjoyable Bengal Flame Naga dish and the wife really liked her balti but thought her chicken was a fraction dry.
The sides were very good although we have had better chips.
The service was timely and I thought the bill was very reasonable for what we had.
The room is cavernous and was on the cool side, to be fair it must cost a fortune to heat. Unfortunately there weren't many in on our Friday night yet it still felt very friendly.
Parking is slightly awkward so a short walk might be necessary.
More than happy to return.

Perfect Pizza & House of Peri Peri
354 Oldbury Rd, Rowley RegisOrdered a vegetarian pizza today and it came within 30 minutes of ordering. It was fresh and hot and delicious. Been ordering for over a year pizzas are always bang on. A few weeks back the pizza wasn’t up to standards and we called to let them know and since then ordered 3 times and the pizzas have been great. Would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for listening and keep up the good work.

16-20 Oldbury Rd, Blackheath, Rowley RegisTried for the first time via Uber eats and pretty impressive. Not the usual delivery info on the app but apart from that we had a superb meal. The lads popped a few free poppadoms in, with a decent amount of onions, salad and sauces this was a good start. Decent portions, very little oil visible and the chicken tikka biryani was honestly one of the best I've had. Naans were chunky to mop things up too! Definitely recommend and look forward to visiting for a sit down.

As for stock I’d say once every two weeks or so I walk out with something missing off my list which I find is pretty good considering the amount of customers they have.

I was very skeptical having never ordered from here before but I’m so glad to say it was the complete opposite! The food was nice and hot and actually tasted so good everything was really fresh and great portion sizes. Now that we now it’s only a couple minutes from us this will probably be our go to

Phoned hot food paradise and the delivery service wasn't available as they had finished. The lovely lady stated she would deliver it to me. 18 Rowley Village, Rowley RegisThe Brit has become my local even though it is well over a 1km wall away.
Years ago it served food but since it only serves bar snacks / cobs but they do allow you to bring in your own food which is handy. You can even order off Uber eats / take aways and have it delivered into the pub to your table. This is a nice touch as it means the menu is unlimited because of take aways you can have.
The pub itself is very cosy, it has old pub charms that I feel lots of pubs lack nowadays. It has numerous rooms and plenty of seating. They host lots of entertainment each month from darts nights, quizzes, live singers etc. in the summer it has a large beer garden which backs o to Britannia park.
Winter they have coal fires ablaze which again adds to the old school charm.
The staff are pleasant and friendly and no issues getting served. If the pub is busy it can take a while to be served but that's expected.
Beers are good and they have a lot of choices and new beers are regularly put on. The beers are what bring me to the place as it has a nice selection as opposed to bog standard lagers, ciders and Guinness.
It's family friendly and we go with our kids who enjoy going. My eldest takes his darts and enjoyed having a go on the dart board.
They are dog friendly and you always get lots of pooches who always get plenty of strokes and head scratches from the punters.
In a time when public houses are disappearing from the streets it's good to see the Brit keeping social drinking going with keeping it traditional as well as with the times.

11 High St, Blackheath, Rowley RegisHad a cob here very nice, always pop in if im around Blackheath, proper random locals in there but the old saying 'salt of the earth' springs to mind.
Great atmosphere evertime we go in, normally around midday, staff are friendly and welcoming, kids welcome too.
Nice beer garden also .

Not too long waiting wasn't too busy fast service and seems happy to help with any orders or changes you want. Fish is cooked fresh and if you don't want batter you can always ask for a southern fried coating instead. I recommend this fish and chip shop to anyone who wants a nice chippy.

124 Halesowen St, Blackheath, Rowley RegisWetherspoons in centre of Blackheath... Let's face it it's a wetherspoons,, nothing high brow, just good ale and food at a decent price.
That being said, of all the local 'spoons it's got the best ale selection always kept well.
The staff are friendly, but need to be more attentive to finishing serving the person they are dealing with before moving on to dealing with others, as I often see people getting overlooked at the bar, or service done in the wrong order.
Lets face it, nobody likes waiting up the bar staring at their half pulled pint whilst others get served and finished around them. Lol

That being said, still a good pub.

12 Portway Rd, Rowley RegisAlways use Goodview and never had a bad meal, the food is always fresh, tasty and hot. Well packed in the bag so no spillages. The staff are all polite and helpful and the price is reasonable in comparison to other takeaways. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thumbs up ? from me.
