Union Rd, Shirley, SolihullAlways a nice visit at the Woodmans. Friendly staff especially Ruby and Keeley. Ember Inns app is also very good for occasional deals, money off and rewards card. Food is always good and reasonably priced.

I've discovered a new favourite dish..the Murghi Special, it was amazing, would recommend..and a reasonable price considering it includes mushroom pilau rice. Offered lime pickle (as well as the usual accompaniments) with the poppadoms, which I love..and the keema naan was also lovely. 5/5 from me....it'll be my new fave place now for home delivery. Check their website, 20% off.
Shapla has been here in Shirley for so long that many people forget it's here! Remember it guys, worth a visit!

22 Farmhouse Way, Shirley, SolihullSuch a fabulous afternoon with friends for our Christmas lunch, we all had the set Christmas menu, the food was excellent, plenty of veg and potatoes as well, all the desserts were delicious too! Restaurant was very cosy and warm, service was friendly and efficient, Prosecco was lovely but at £35 a bottle a bit expensive so we only had one bottle! We would def book again tho \nThank you

161 Stratford Rd, Shirley, SolihullI visited Shirley Kebab House and ordered a mixed doner wrap — it was absolutely delicious! The meat was fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavour. You could really taste the quality in every bite. On top of that, the service was brilliant — friendly, quick, and welcoming. Great portion sizes too! I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and craving a quality kebab.

sears retail park, NEXT, 131 Marshall Lake Rd, Shirley, Street, SolihullI visited this costa on Saturday 18/10/2025 and although I have always enjoyed a latte from there quite frequently, I managed to find a new love for a sweet treat (which is the Halloween cornflake cake), recommended to me by the lovely Mia on the service window. She was so bubbly and kind which I needed due to a disappointing start to my weekend :( she asked me how I was and was very intrigued and enthusiastic with me regarding what I was planning on doing with my day. She is an asset to Shirley Costa Coffee and I would love to know that she gets recognition and praise for being such a wonderful and caring young lady. She changed the trajectory of my day so made my Saturday, and my drink ;), a little bit sweeter by just being so lovely. It is worth the price you pay for the drink/snack just to interact with this exceptional Costa employee that goes above and beyond. Thank you Mia!!
