emma was horribly rude to me and my friend, all we wanted was plastic cups and she kicked off with us disgusting behaviour from a manager, we wanted to leave our drinks behind the bar due to the increased spiking she was hostile and outright refused, refused to give her name and we had to seek upon floor staff security tom he was extremely helpful

Really nice weatherspoons, the decor is nice and I liked the festive tree and decorations. Guy behind bar on breakfast shift on Sunday was really nice and friendly.

We had breakfast here yesterday about 11.00 am. Absolutely disgusting will never eat here again. My breakfast came out stone cold. I asked for it to be warmed up please & was waiting 30 minutes? Again not much better. No butter or mushrooms, beans were a mush mess, bacon rock hard. It was foul. It's such a shame as it's a lovely pub. They need to get a decent chef & a manager.

Went in for a drink after eating locally. Bar wasn’t busy but barmaid continually ignored us, serving others. When we asked her to serve us she got stroppy and suggested someone else serve us (there wasn’t anyone else). Walked out without buying anything.

Went in this evening. 9:30pm. Bar area quiet. Stood waiting at the bar to be served. Two people then walked in after us and got served before us?! When the barmaid got to us we highlighted we’d been waiting ages and people served before us. Response was it’s difficult to know who was next to be served. What? In an empty bar? We commented but that’s your job. Was then told… get someone else to serve You and walked off! REALLY?!? Won’t be back here in a hurry.

Maybe slightly better than your average Spoons. This was a blank page development and they still chose to put the toilets on the first floor ?

Came there for a breakfast with my partner on her birthday and her family. Ordered vegetarian breakfast for her but received no mushroom. Asked for mushroom, the guy said he will bring it but forgot about us, no apology, no check back, didn’t bring the mushroom. Just to make it clear this ain’t about not receiving a mushroom, but about the service given, no solution given, no one cared, it could be anything missing on that plate and they still wouldn’t care enough. You have to get yourself staff that actually care and not just run here miserably, because it just makes the service awful and it’s a shame.

Food and drinks spot on ? staff very friendly ?. However the Building had no soul very bland unlike other weatherspoons that I've been to. Also I really wish that folk that smoke didn't have to smoke cigarettes in the Door way . I had to shout excuse me just to get by . And the smell of cigarettes smoke inside the premises was very strong and not being a smoker it spoiled the taste of my food .

Ordered a hot chocolate with my breakfast. The breakfast was already tepid when it came to me, but the drink didn't come. I then asked for it again, but then the machines weren't working, so I had to spend time trying to get that sorted. Two staff refused to change it for a cold drink and said they'd sort the machines. They apparently then just gave up and forgot about both me and the machines. Meanwhile, two large queues had built up for the machines and my breakfast was now almost cold. I told the manager, who happened to walk past, and she said hot chocolate was off! I told her about the two staff who hadn't told me that and she just kept repeating that it was off, like a robot. So I just abandoned my now cold, paid-for breakfast and left. I used to be regular there but sadly will now not be returning.
