A real gem hidden away in Shirley! A comprehensive menu presented in a newspaper format. We went for samosa chaat whuch would be a great stand alone snack but we also went for Punjabi Chole (chuck peas) which coupled with rotis made a filling and delicious lunch. Two cups of Chai completed our meal.
Despite eating on a very wet Wednesday night, the food was top notch. From excellent Lassi through to amazing Chicken Taka Tak I couldn’t fault the quality and taste. We all had a Thali with varying main curries. The constituent parts made for a sublime mix of flavours. I particularly liked the Chicken Taka Tak which was enjoyed with some beautifully light naan bread. The meal was finished off with a glass of Chai and a portion of Gulab Jamun. This is a wonderful restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The restaurant itself is a WOW! The food excellent. The thali plates are amazing giving you a taste of a variety of dishes. Prices very reasonable and competitive. Will definitely be going again
