Amazing place. I have passed it on the bus for years and I have only ever checked it out recently. I have been missing out! Everyone goes up the road to Bearwood High Street to be disappointed, when this gem is right there and shouldn't be missed. Fantastic drinks and service and I would love to go back to try the food too ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had lunch in the lounge. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had a paneer makani with chapati and my friend had a chicken madras with garlic rice. The food was very tasty served in a lovely manner. Would definitely recommend and we shall be back again with family.Dietary restrictions: I'm vegetarian so there were plenty of vegetarian options

The pub had a bad reputation years ago due to the locals but fast forward 10 years and the new owners have seriously improved the pub as a whole, warm and comfortable greeting soon as you walk in, the food is absolutely fantastic and the drinks selection is wide and varied. My regular recommendations for the food is definitely the mixed grill, the fish pakoras are out of this world! Their curries are most definitely the best in the area compared to other Desi Pubs. So glad I revisited this establishment after leaving the British Army and I hope The Abbey Bar and Grill have a successful 2024! As for those who still regard the pub as rough and ready and turn their noses up when somebody mentions this particular public house ought to wobble their heads and give this place another chance, you’re missing out on fairly priced drinks, beautifully prepared food and a really good time!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian/Vegan optionsDietary restrictions: The Chef is very accommodating, any questions then ask himself or the barmaid who is always happy to help.Parking: Plenty of parking available front of house or neighbouring streets, the off-licence opposite also has an off road car park in which I’ve never had a problem with.

Perfect spot. Man behind the bar so welcoming and helpful. Knowing it’s owned by my family Nepal put cherry on the top. Beautiful family business. Love my momo ( dumpling ) and so much more. Thank you will be back again and again !

Ordered via Uber eats. Food arrived hot and fresh and the taste is amazing. Haven't had Indian food of this quality for a long time! I ordered saag paneer, wings (incredible!) and bhuna and each dish was 10/10. My boyfriend had the balti which was really well balanced.
