I wish I could give more than 5 stars!!! I tried Belgian hot chocolate for the first time here and I must say it was heavenly. Fantastic customer service. Very impressive! Now this is my Go to place. ❤️

I like going here as I love the hot chocolate and often go with my parents and also meet friends. However recently, on every visit the same one women is SO RUDE.She has been rude to my friend on multiple occasions, being rude about where she has chosen to sit, and also when she was sat waiting for me to arrive because she hadn’t ordered anything prior to seating.Last week I went and asked for hot water to heat milk for my twin babies. Baring in mind this was a Monday, mid morning and there was about 4 tables in use. The women went on a rampage, refusing me hot water saying they don’t have the spare mugs, that she couldn’t do it, that they had a bowl once but it was stolen. I would have had the water in anything just to be able to feed my babies, a take out cup or even my dirty mug!!! But in the end we had to head home and I had to listen to 2 screaming babies all the way home because they were hungry!!! It is such a shame as like I said, I like the food/drink here but the customer service is disgusting!!!

Cappuccino this morning at my very favourite cafe - Cacao in Touchwood. The best coffee with real chocolate flakes at the bottom of the drink and sprinkled in a line on top. Beats chocolate powder hands down. My husband and I are regular customers and Pam, her lovely staff and the food and drink they serve are beautifully prepared and delicious. Love it.

Popped in today on my lunchtime and i ordered cheese and ham toasty and a pot of tea. The waitress brought my tea out on a little tray with no sugar i wasn't asked so i had to ask for sugar just milk. The pot was only half filled my cup was dirty and there were crumbs inside my cup! I had to clean my cup before using it with a wet napkin which was wrapped around my knife and fork. Definitely would not go back. The young lady that served me at the till was not interested in any kind of customer service at all she didn't even smile just took my money.

Awful place, lady who runs the place is extremely rude and patronising. I felt so so uncomfortable the minute I ordered, I then cancelled my order due to feeling so on edge by the way the manager spoke to me to which I was told “too late I’ve started making it” pushing the card machine in my face. I did not pay and went to walk away. The manager then laughed at me as I walked away, speaking about me to her younger staff. The worst coffee shop in Solihull. Horrendous. Do not go here. The manager looks like she needs a good night sleep.
Went here on a day out, visiting from another city. Met by a lovely member of staff to begin with, wish it ended that way. Got told rudely multiple times to put away food that we bought from another restaurant, packaged up, that we were supposedly “planning on eating”. We weren’t. After that we were rudely told to “free up the sits” and leave simply because of a misunderstanding where we were accused of ordering food to go just so we could “chill” in the cafes seating area. An employee kindly stepped in and told her about the situation which she clearly had no idea about. Following that, she proceeded to claim we were “getting out tupperware to share the food from the other restaurant.” I was honestly shook. I had nothing more to say to her and was utterly disgusted by the way we were treated specifically by her. She then began to rudely express her surprise that we were only ordering 2 desserts for the 4 of us? I don’t see how it was a problem that we wanted to share the food but it seems she was completely disgusted by it. I wanted my girls to get up and leave as soon as it happened however we stayed to show courtesy. Very disappointed and dampened our day out.

The worst experience ever. I am a mum to a 8 month old, I asked for a cup of tap water with my coffee I purchased from Cocao. The manager tried to charge me £2.25 to use the glass she was putting tap water in? I explained it was for my son to have a drink, she was SO rude, and said ‘you have to pay for the glass he will drink out of’. On top of this, my son was going to have his lunch, which the manager told me “no food can be consumed here unless bought from here”. It was BABY FOOD and I had purchased myself a coffee from there. I have never ever been so upset. I will never ever go back here again, and I do NOT recommend you try it either.

Awful customer service would never return and after reading other reviews about the same staff member i am disgusted they are allowed to treat customers like that.I was with my mother who ordered a hot drink, I sat down to accompany her and due to being lactose intolerant and other allergies I did not have a drink due to no substitute. A staff member rudely come up behind me and literally tipped me off a chair, stating she needed it for a paying customer. However there were 5 other chairs free around, so I can say this was targeted. I was in shock and could not fathom the rudeness. I went to speak to the staff member when I realised what had happened however they avoided me. I spoke to the younger staff member to explain how rude her colleague was and she was embarrassed and shocked.An awful experience! I would never return and would urge others not to.

Popped in today for coffee and a pastry, observed the kindness and courtesy of the staff towards elderly customers and was also served politely and with a smile. Croissant was fresh and warmed, coffee was great.
