“Came up to visit my dad from Devon and we came here to get some fish and chips. He’s been multiple times and has never had a bad experience. We both got fish and chips and he got curry sauce and it was absolutely delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place more. The prices were good, not too expensive, and they cooked the fish for you pretty much on arrival. Jane, the lovely lady who served us, was helpful and went through all the options available and was so kind. I cannot recommend this place enough. Please come here if you’re ever in Shirley or live nearby!

“a hidden little gem. always a nice welcome and service with a smile. i normally have sausage and chips which are delicious but last night i tried their cod, chips and curry sauce. everything was piping hot (so much so, i burnt my mouth but thats my fault) very generous portion of chips, all lovely golden colour, the fish was lovely and covered in the tasty curry sauce, i ate the lot.”

“Used to use another Chinese takeaway but although it advertised 'Take debit cards' it didn't but insisted on cash. We decided to try Luckechef. The food ordered Chicken wings in BBQ sauce, beef in Oyster Sauce, Cantonese Sweet & Sour King Prawns, Egg fried rice & Beansprouts was paid for by Visa, arrived piping hot and within the time frame given. In our opinion delicious, we will definitely use this establishment in the future”

“Soulless cavernous space which tries to drown the echoing silence with piped music - loud music doesn't make an atmosphere!! Try a smaller venue. Definitely overpriced at almost £20 for burger, fries and drink, no matter how unique you think cooking spuds in peanut oil is.”
