Probably the worst breakfast I have ever tried to eat, tomatoes tasted like a ball of grease not sure how you get tomatoes wrong but gross ? the bacon was more like wafer thin ham and the hash browns also just tasted of grease will never be going

Today we visited the Barn Beefeater.The manager needs to get his act together! A little wait when to arrived ,ok. .The waitress was lovely the restaurant was clean especially the cutlery ,good start. I had a birthday voucher for a main meal,I ordered gammon steak chips and peas.£12.95.(not the most expensive item on the menu ,as I could have opted for steak .)My husband had Salmon @£17.95??( no voucher for him) Quite honestly we thought it was more like a starter.The salmon wasn't large I'd say a little on the small size for the price.With that came a portion of chips and a palm full of rocket ,that was it,unbelievable.!!! I complained and the waitress threw in a small salad which was not included in the meal ,it was either chips ,or salad, what's a small salad of tomato lettuce mayonnaise cost .? Not once did the manager come over and talk to us it was left to this poor waitress to sort out. When we received the bill ,they did however.enter the dearest meal as the voucher meal ,so they redeemed themselves at the end,however,it did leave a nasty taste so won't be returning. Why is it everyone wants to rip us off!!We gave it 3 ticks but that's down to the waitress being so pleasant otherwise it would have been less.

Booked a table for a birthday breakfast.We had to wait to be spotted by a member of staff before being seated. Felt longer than it was.Pointed towards our table which was reserved by myself. Only to find the table had the plates and cutlery left from the previous customer.Had to wait for staff to replenish the mugs for a coffee. Apple juice ran out, croissants ran out.Staff rudely told my partner that they 'don't do decaf' when she asked for a decaf tea or coffee. Shocking manners.Toasters weren't the usual tracked ones but regular toasters resulting in lots of people waiting.We waited an hour for our breakfast to arrive by which point the children we were with grew bored, irritable and hungry so we left.Toilets in the gents had no hand soap, the taps also leaked.For a beefeater restaurant, this branch brings the reputation down drastically. We won't return to this establishment. Will try other beefeaters, others I have visited have been outstanding in the general demeanor of the staff, cleanliness of the place, availability of food and drinks.

We were a large group of 20 people, service was very good, food hot and tasty. All came out at the same time which must of been a challenge for the chef. Mainly everyone chose from the Festive menu as good value for money £19.95 for 2 courses or £22.95 for 3 courses. Our waitress was very organised and helpful. We split the bill into smaller family groups, all of this was no trouble and went smoothly. All in all would definitely recommend. Also given a 25% voucher to use on another visit,

I would highly recommend The Barn. I booked here for a xmas family meal originally 16 then 2 hours before we were due to arrive 3 more members wanted to be added. They did without question. The table was perfect we were altogether. The food was delicious. All came out at the same time. The service was fantastic. Billie was looking after us she gave us excellent table service and there was a lot of us. Will be booking same time next year. Thank you again.

I'm sitting in the restaurant, staff are friendly, the restaurant is clean but it's so slow , I have been waiting for 1hr 12 min just for a burger, and the restaurant is 80 percent empty

A very friendly welcome from a friendly genuine member of staff.Food was cooked nicely and was hot and fresh. The only slight drawback was that the toaster took ages to produce a piece of toast. Other than that the place was clean and modern and welcoming.
Nice food atmosphere and staff, especially Kiah and Lorraine who went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my experience here, these two was exceptional not just with me but everyone around even under immense pressure when busy, they are a credit to this beefeater restaurant

Absolutely disgraceful had the festive menu starter main and pudding starter was fine main came out was all cold yorkshire was still frozen sent it back they brought me another one that was not much better still frozen in middle so did not eat any of it was past ordering pudding was not charged for main but charged full price for starter which was wrong as would not have worked out at that price had i had the meal i was expecting my whole evening ruined that was Saturday 2nd of December

Saturday 18th November party of four. I ordered salmon when I cut into it wasn’t cooked in the middle. Pastry under cooked also. 3 of the party ordered profiteroles which were frozen solid. Sent back salmon had fish and chips which were nice. Waiter said all profiteroles were frozen and to choose something else from menu we picked the apple pie which was ok. Very disappointed it was getting busy.
