Pubs • “Looking after 25 people who arrive for Sunday lunch together is no mean feat! From the booking process, pre-ordering and service on the day everything was handled amazingly well. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. There was plenty of choice on the menu, the meals were lovely and there was so much food - the portions were huge! Everything was exactly as ordered and cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Thanks to you all for helping to make it such a memorable day for us all.”

Pubs • “Cosy, quaint little bar. They serve just about everything. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Prices were reasonable. Drinks were good. The small menu that they do have looks inviting. The toilets are clean and have a few nice touches in there for us female members. Will be back again. Highly recommend.”

Pubs • “First time eating here and let me tell you we were not disappointed!! Right from walking through the door we felt welcome and comfortable. We have all experienced that uncomfortable moment you walk in and your not sure if you have to speak to someone first and where you can sit to eat, someone spoke to us straight away and showed us the various places we could sit putting us totally at ease. We had the pork chops as our main and wow! One of the best meals we have had for a very long time. It was freshly cooked and incredibly tasty, I have never been a huge lover of pork but I would absolutely go back for this, it was tender and very thick, the veg left you wanting more. We had the cheesecake and pavlova for dessert and again it was incredible and mouth watering and left us both saying we will definitely return and try other items on the menu. The environment was relaxing and comfortable with places to sit inside and out. The staff are all so lovely, they really go out of their way to make your experience a good one, I found them all friendly and willing to help. Can't wait to go back!!”
Pubs • “Lovely old type pub. Sat outside in early evening sun. They have made the most of the outside area. Beer was good.”
Pubs • “Service wasn't the best waited a bit too long to be served. Staff in most pubs don't have any idea who's turn it is - those days are gone. The garden is super and was much improved since my last visit. Beer selection was ok but not great. Craddock sell their own range which aren't as tasty as others such as neck oil.”
