Dined here last night and, we have to say, the experience was excellent! We were seated in the area at the back as soon as we arrived and our ordered drinks came very shortly afterwards. Food quality, quantity & presentation was exceptional, and the service was prompt from drinks on arrival to the bill on leaving. Our server Connie was very pleasant, attentive & obliging. Officially now one of my favourite pubs.Firstly, we did eat here, although I didn’t grab any photos of the more modern extension to the already-existing gorgeous Manor House (the house is where the bar is!)BUT, the food was absolutely phenomenal, in addition to the service - I’d recommend the Sunday lunch, all cooked beautifully. We came here for a training night for the staff. There was 4 of us, we ordered 3 steaks and 1 sea bass. My steak was slighty chewy in small parts and so was my partners. My father in law said the sea bass was slightly over done. But to be honest the food was pretty good, and presented well. Our waitress was attentive, and came around several times.
