Bar • “Amazing pub!! We had booked this for a family meal of 10 (incl 2 children) and the service and staff were so accommodating.We all had some form of beef in our meals (Sunday roast, beef fillet, slow cooked blade), there was no trouble in providing kids portions and food was cooked wonderfully. One also had the mussels and she loved it.Picture of the roast beef doesn’t do it justice but it was so well cooked with a huge Yorkshire pudding! Everything was priced very well and the quality was certainly there.Can’t complain about anything, great food, great atmosphere, very lovely service from all the staff members we spoke with and thank you so much for supporting a large group of us. Would highly recommend anyone to go!Thanks again all at The Butlers Arms - great gem in Sutton Coldfield.”
Bar • “What a lovely restaurant. Well decorated, smart with a nice ambience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was spot on. Food was outstanding. One of the best restaurant meals we've had in a long time. ? Would not hesitate to recommend ?. Only one slight complaint, and this has nothing to do with the restaurant. No one seems to make the effort to look smart these days. Perhaps have a dress code. No scruffy jeans. No trainers. No sruffy tee shirts and sweat tops. Just a thought. ? ?”
Bar • “Like the station pub and usually have a good selection of beers. Sadly service has always been a problem here and no different on Saturday. Had to wait ages to be served and saw a few people give up. Problem being the staff that were on tended to stay in the bar nearest the beer garden leaving one side of the pub unattended. Shame cos like the place.”
Bar • “Nice small cafe. Had a lovely coffee and Sausage & Egg Sandwich. The whole process is a bit slow to order as the queue was massive, mainly consisting of people having takeaway drinks.The sandwiches came out about before the drinks and by the time they came we had finished the food.Very busy, maybe too busy so need more staff or a better process to speed up everything but overall, a nice place in the park to visit.”
Bar • “It was pretty busy when we arrived so I would very much recommend booking a table in advance if you can. There seemed to be a fair few young families in too.As it was a Sunday a good half of the menu was dedicated to roast dinners and we opted for the half chicken option. It was honestly one of the best roasts I've had in a pub, good crispy potatoes, giant Yorkshire pud, bread sauce, a (rather small but delicious) pig in blanket and unlimited gravy (which we very much enjoyed!). We asked if we could have a short interval between courses and the staff were happy to oblige before we then had the chocolate bomb. It was very decadent (probably a bit too much toffee sauce) but very delicious. Good flavours and a good size portion.Kid-friendliness: High chairs seemed readily available for those with small children”
Bar • “Lovely food, reasonably priced, friendly staff who went the extra mile to help to celebrate our sons birthday, even the chef made an appearance to say happy birthday! would recommend and would visit again!”
Bar • “Have eaten here in the past and always had a good experience. The service is as prompt as can be, it can get very busy. In saying that, the staff are always friendly. Atmosphere is good, I have had a few beers here many times and never had any issues. I do try to avoid big footy nights though. Beer is very good, good selection and competativly priced.”
Bar • “Came here for a wake for one of our friends, the lovely gentleman behind the bar think his name was Josh went above and beyond he always served with a smile and was always polite, not only did Josh serve us on the bar but he always ensured that the empty glasses was taken from the function room to give us space, the spread that was also put on was Delicious, would I recommend to my friends and family? 100% I would the atmosphere around the pub was friendly and welcoming, there was also a young lady that served us she was also helpful, A big thank you to the team for making our day special.”
Bar • “Terrific service. Quick, helpful staff. I ordered a beer on the app that wasn't in stock; the server brought over all the canned beer they had in stock so I could choose a replacement.”
“It was my birthday and went with my children, arrived with a greeting to be directed to our table given a choice and then advised who my server was GARY he was really helpful and kind to my 2 children making them enjoy the experience and myself, Gary also listened to us and told my children jokes, made them laugh, the food was lovely and great service from our server, thank you for making our night memorable, will be visiting again 2nd visit and always enjoy..”
