Popped in for a quick drink and game of pool of work with my colleagues! Lovely clean tidy pub! Was pleasantly surprised with the friendly service from staff Dan and Megan! Will be a more regular!
Had a lovely time celebrating my Mum’s birthday. She wanted something low key, so we went to our local pub. Had an amazing evening-Dan was so friendly and helpful- always smiling & happy to help with anything he could. We loved it and was good to see Mum smile! Lovely atmosphere- we came here a lot over the years, but the updated decor and the feeling of being st a home from home is very welcoming! We’re booked to go back for the Sunday Roast today & some more delicious cocktails!

Literally popped in a for a drink as hadn’t been in this pub before so can’t comment on the food. What I can say is that the service was excellent. I was a bit undecided as to what to go for and straightaway, the gentleman behind the bar offered a few samples of beers and ales without me even asking! He had good knowledge and was very friendly with his approach. Will be back to try some of the food next time since I already had dinner that evening.
