Went for a family meal with friends, first time going in as a group and we have already said when will we be back in there again. The staff were welcoming and engaging. Great range of beers on tap. Pub is a great relaxing environment, was able to watch the sports whilst with the family, happy dad. The group we were with only found positives with the pub, 10/10 all round.Kid-friendliness: Went there for a family meal with friends, 5 kids and 6 adults. Kids were far away from the bar which meant they could be themselves. Adam from the pub had left colouring pencils and sheets on the tables for them. There was space where we we in the pub which meant the kids could get up and wonder if they wanted. TOP FAMILY PUB.

Popped in here last week and we received a warm welcome from the team. They have a good selection of ales and many TV's showing various sports and cool booths for private viewing. Our meals were delicious and we will be back again soon.

The Mrs and I came in here the other day for a quick drink and ended up staying for some grub. Honestly amazing service, and Nick behind the bar was so helpful and helped me decide what to order from the menu and his recommendation honestly did not disappoint. One of the best pubs in town!

Nice pub, good selection of beers and a welcoming atmosphere. Very friendly staff, both Billy and the nice Asian lady are always kind and professional. Definitely worth a visit!

Been going here for years, local pub in Sutton area, good cheap food, live sports on TV. Been today Oct , awful Sunday lunch, burnt roast potatoes , soggy veg, beef awful. New owners!!! Not as before. Not impressed at all and prices have gone up. Chicken was not roast ??, if it says roast it should be. Salt all over the potatoes why? Won't be back after a life time of going there. 24/ Oct 2021.Thank you for the response, after a lifetime of eating at the gander it was more than disappointing, how my meal was so awful I don't know, who have you got in yr kitchen? I actually travel a long way to eat there with my family , there are so many eateries these days we will go else where.May 2023, went again for a quick visit, good ok, management much better it's changed again. Quiet and ok, friendly service will go back again when in the area. Update Jan 2024, had a good lunch for three persons today, different staff, very polite, food better , prices ok.Parking: Spaces outside if not too busy, on Sundays anyway, disabled spaces, car charging space.Kid-friendliness: Children welcome in restaurant sideWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs
