Booked a one night stay for our 5th anniversary. Was greeted by a helpful and friendly member of staff explaining everything as it was our first time coming. We were kindly upgraded to a superior room due to our occasion, alongside with some sweet treats on the house. Spacious, clean and warm room so cannot complain. Spa facilities are also hygienic and relaxing.Unfortunately had a disappointing dinner experience at the Oak Room however. Had to wait over 1 hour for our mains to arrive. Then had to send it back twice as one of our meals was very over cooked, which also took a long period of time again. We were given drinks on the house for the inconvenience and some money off the bill.A moment of appreciation though for the restaurant supervisor Marjan - a lovely and friendly lady who couldn’t apologise enough for the inconvenience, especially as it was our anniversary evening. Was also another young lady working alongside Marjan who was accommodating and apologetic.Breakfast was fine, morning staff were friendly and helpful. Housekeeping were noisy in the morning but also friendly staff.Overall a nice location and decent stay, just a shame the restaurant let us down.

Stayed over night for a work Christmas party event .The room was clean and nicely prepared on my arrival. I have been welcomed by a very friendly receptionist, who explained to me where our event will take place, where my room is located and where to go for breakfast in the morning.Heating was on full blast, so the room was very warm, but the radiator velve worked well so I could amend it to my preference.A nice big and comfy bed, plenty of towels in different sizes, two dressings, soap, shampoo, body lotion....all provided by the hotel. Also coffee, milk, sugar, tea and some shortbread biscuits as well ??.Next morning I have had a little walk in surrounding garden. It was very nice, quiet place.I know the is pool and spa facilities, however I can't make any comments on this as I haven't use it.The food we have had during our event was fantastic and very nicely presented. Breakfast was full English style , served your self system, fresh fruit, cornflakes and muesli.I am glad I could attend the event at this place and I would come back again, so I will recommend and highlight very, very friendly staff.

Really gone downhill after our visit last year. The evening Carvery was poor, 'brown water' gravy, dried out meats, a restaurant manager who was simply sub par.Our room was up in the roof, no water pressure for a decent shower a small heater, the room was cold! Blood stained towels, robes which had seen better days! What should have been a special night for our wedding anniversary was ruined by cost cutting. We won't be returning.

Beautiful hotel located on stunning grounds in the outskirts of Sutton Coldfield, the rooms are decent and the service which you receive is 10/10 we stay every year and each time we are more impressed. Look forward to staying next year. Keep up the good work Moor Hall ?Rooms: Rooms are well maintained and supplied with everything you may need.Nearby activities: A spa, gym and swimming pool all on site and also within the grounds of a golf course.Safety: Safety is well thought out, ground floor access, clearly lit fire exits, staff are always around should they be needed, door access is via key card.Walkability: Easy to negotiate around the hotel due to clear signage.Food & drinks: Food is very picturesque but also beautifully cooked, breakfast has a variety of full English, cereals, fruits, yoghurts and pastries.

Today was the second time I have visited this hotel. The first was for a girls pamper weekend and today was for breakfast with Santa. On both visits the staff have been so friendly and helpful, it’s just a beautiful hotel and they cannot do enough for you. Food is amazing, so are the views, 100% recommend it ??

Wouldn't come here ever again. Seen loads of marketing on this place and thought it would be a brilliant place for a weekend away. Was given wrong information about the spa. Wasn't informed that we would have to book a slot to attend, I was told that we could just go straight in over the phone. Didnt even get to go to the spa at all when the whole reason we booked was to have a relaxing time away but it was fully booked. Being told that we coulg go at 6am isnt exactly what anyone wants when theyre off work and wanting to unwind. On top of that the showers and bath in the bathroom were very very cold with no radiator working in both bathroom and bedroom. Water pressure from bathroom was so bad it would take you 2 hours to have a shower. Service was very bad as I asked for water to be sent up to my room from the bar and it never arrived. A lot of noise that it was nearly impossible to sleep. Rooms are nothing fancy, very basic and not worth it for the price. Was quite disappointed.

Breakfast looked good but was cold disorganised running out of side plates running out of food but even when more food brought in it was just warm.Party in the evening as soon as it was 12.00 the bright lights came on and music stopped it was if they had your money now go home. On the good side staff were pleasant.

We stayed for 1 night only and loved location, but unfortunately we are disappointed with restaurant menu, food quality, bed was not comfortable at all and for some reason I couldn’t sleep at all, also bathroom was a bit in average condition.Early morning I asked personnel what time breakfast start, she said not sure and asked another person and that person same, finally a waitress come over and said 7.30 (it was Saturday)… but at check in they told us 7am.So in general beautiful place but lack of management and housekeeping.Safety: I think anyone can walk in and wonder around hotel any time

Went for a Spa day with my daughter and was disappointed beyond belief. I have had many spa days over the years but have to rank this as the worst. Firstly on arrival their was no warm greetings from the member of the spa then we were sent to what i can only describe as a shoe cupboard up a short staircase ( it was also cold up there) then another lady appeared and asked if we wanted tea and toast (no other option) also the table set up was all sachets and felt like being in a roadside cafe. After the tea and basic toast we went back to the spa reception ( which was also the gym reception) thinking now our experience would be starting how wrong was we. The spa day arrival time is 9.30 til 5pm and our treatment time was 2.30 so we had quite a few hours ahead. We were shown a small pool with a jacuzzi built into it and was also being used for hotel guests and gym member's and their children and that was our spot for the next few hours, nothing relaxing about it at all with the noise from children splashing around and having fun which is fantastic to see but not so great for a spa day experience. We were given a timeslot for lunch at 12.30 where we had to revisit the cupboard up the stairs over looking the bar where their was a wedding reception happening again that's great but i didn't feel very comfortable walking through the wedding party in our robe's and if it was my wedding i wouldn't be to happy either to have people walk through with their robe's, very odd. Finally we had our treatment and to be honest i have absolutely no complaints about the massage but i can tell you once it finished we got ready and might i add very dirty changing room (floors) we then left early as i couldn't take anymore. I genuinely think that the spa manager needs to visit other hotel spa hotels very nearby and see what they are lacking. Overall very poor and certainly not a 4 star experience.

Was disappointed with our room, its quite dated throughout and the bathroom looks atleast 30 years old. The curtain was broken which was annoying and the walls are quite thin as we could hear shouting/talking throughout the night. The only part we loved was the breakfast. The spa is quite basic as well and I would say this hotel is a 2 star rating at best.

Overall a really nice stay.Breakfast was buffet style and excellent service.Dinner was lovely and very accommodating to our dietary requirements. Food tasted good.We booked a four poster room which was nice but smaller than expected for the price we paid for an upgraded room to our package. The spa facilities was the best part, it wasn’t the biggest pool but still lovely. We were lucky it was not busy at this time of year and therefore found it more relaxing. We booked a couples massage which was the best experience out of the whole visit.

Today I attended a funeral wake in the Oak Room.I rate the room, the food served and the staff as excellent. But parking was horrendous. Loads of spaces were reserved for leisure club people and even more for EV filling up.I have a small car and managed to get it in and out of a tiny space.

Performed at a wedding here and the staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. It was very clean and easy to get to where I needed to be. Would definitely come back!
