Visited MoR today and wasn't very pleased with the service. Although the initial drinks/food orders were prompt, we were left waiting ages for someone to take our plates. When asked if everything was OK with the good, i highlighted what my concerns were at which point was told 'it's not in our control'. After this point we received no further table service. It wasnt particularly busy either at this time. We was looking to order desserts too but having waiting 20 mins we decided to go and settle the bill ourselves at the front desk. Member of staff, Nicky was very helpful and apologised for the delays etc and was very polite.

Very disappointing overall.Service was slow and inattentive and when I asked if we could order I just got told to go sit back down and waited an additional fives minutes until they came over to serve another table and remembered us.The steak and kidney pie was unfortunately prepared in a sauce which lacked much flavour.The chips tasted like the packaging they were purchased in and were dried out and tough, presumably from how long they had spent out after being cooked.The mash potato was literally just boiled mashed potatoes, no salt, no milk or cream and no butter or even any seasoning of any kind. For a £13 pie in a place called "The Pie Factory" I would expect the quality of the food to be much more.I would say I was visibly dissatisfied with my food but the wait staff did not ask me how my experience was. I would have been happy to share with them privately my issues with the food but they were clearly not interested.Most of the money is clearly spent on decoration as opposed to quality ingredients and a more appropriate number of staff for the venue.

My families favourite spot! The minted lamb pie is exceptional & was a recommendation from our server. The posh n becks is another favourite of mine, & don’t get me started on the gravy! Black Country’s finest!

Firstly my wife has been here a number of times and really enjoyed it how ever.This time round was awful we were greated very rude the sat waiting for drinks for 15 mins while the drinks sat on the bar going flat also food over priced nice flavor il admit but a small potions. service was very appoling even waiting 10 mins to pay bill as staff were serving other over me extremely RUDE!!!! Won't be going back

Only visited for food, so can't comment on accommodation. Not our first visit here, but it'll be our last for a while.Food & drinks: Food was, unfortunately, disappointing. Food wasn't hot and wasn't as tasty as on previous visits ,service was poor, staff just standing around chatting and not serving, so food was left on the pass for a while. May have been just a bad day, but it's put me off revisiting.Car parking is awful at this pub, too

I had the lovely lamb pie with mushy peas and gravy. My partner had the Donor kebab pie, he said it was nice as a one off. Great service and very welcoming ?

Went here for a Sunday carvery and was not disappointed. I will say that honestly it's 1 of the best carveries around the west midlands that we have ate. We liked it so much that we booked for the following Sunday. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming even had a band playing. Definitely pay a visit I don't think you will be disappointed or feeling hungry when you leave. Thank you and well done ? ?
