Unfortunately store has gone downhill lately. Store is very messy, random items everywhere, especially in the medicine aisle. Went to the bakery at 12pm in the day and there were no baguettes out. Realistically at midday the full range of bread should be out. Disappointed with my visit, hopefully things change for the better, as right now it is not a good shopping experience.

Absolutely rubbish nothing in when you need it , if it is it's moved somewhere else, you have to check the dates on everything in there it's absolutely ridiculous, it should be knocked down and build a Morrisons ther

I like the staff here. People in darlo only eat pot noodle and battered chips, which in turn, often makes the yellow labelled meat plentiful at this branch.

On the 24/9/23 at 14.19 myself and my son was spoken to like dirt by a short haired female member of staff in the cafe. My son is autistic and has his food a certain way. It was a massive problem with her. Deliberately challenging me with a frown like we are abnormal people. Snapping comments and asking ridiculous questions , she went on to say its in her policy to not melt cheese on baked potatoes.Very mean argumentative person. I will not return with my son. He has to face enough issues in life without being challenged over wanting his cheese melted for goodness sake.Asda where is customer care? I saw another review here mentioning a lady who previously snapped horrible comments to me, the other reviewer said she is called Hayley in self scan. I know exactly who she is, she stomps around like she owns the place barking at customers. She is the overweight blonde woman who wears a lot of make up.Where do asda get these people. Staff training needs to be done urgently or force them to have some basic manners.

Would give 0 stars if I could . Store has gone down dramatically. The store its self is a mess with things everywhere. The customer service don't have a clue what they are doing and the george staff are so rude. Went to collect a order and was waiting 20 mins and still didn't collect my order. There is a small space with 1 chair to collect orders and the amount of people that were waiting and still waiting after I had waited, had a walk round the shop to pick a few things up and then out to the car to phone George to get my problem resolved and the same customers were still waiting for orders! Won't be shopping here again !

Poor experience with click and collect this morning. First the items were put in crates that was piled high like a Jenga tournament, which to give to a customer like that isn't exactly following health and safety. Usually the items are already bagged and in a trolley. I was told today in a curt way when I enquired this with customer services " we dow do bags your supposed to get yourself a trolley and get your bags", fair enough, but don't speak to me like I work there and should know the procedure manual. If this had been explained by the person bringing the Jenga match, - sorry crates to me it would have been fine. This isn't anything against the person that brought the crates down but the customer services staff (some of them) need retraining. ?

Nothing wrong with the store but I’d question what your security men are paid to do? A plus point for Asda (compared to Tesco or Morrison’s) is that there’s a bench outside. This is much needed for older shoppers after they’ve done their shopping. I was there today with my aunt who is 85 years old. She could have done with a sit down while we were waiting for our taxi but the bench was taken up by three blokes (at least two of whom were rough sleepers) all drinking cans of strong lager. There was another sitting on the floor also drinking and a fourth one at the entrance to the building (who I suspected of urinating in the plants but I can’t be certain) . Another older lady was spoke to us to saying that she was hoping to sit down due to her back problems but was naturally unwilling to approach three drunks. Why aren’t security moving these people on? I’m not entirely unsympathetic to the homeless but I’m more sympathetic to older people who need a seat after shopping at the store. The bench is for customers not drunks after all.

I use this asda weekly with no issues until today.I never do reviews but I feel compelled to write this because it is such a terrible experience today.I used self scan for ease due to just having surgery. Avoiding queues and asking for help packing.A bleached blonde woman called Hayley needed to run a check which was fine that happens occasionally. I just made a polite request, "kindly put the shopping back how I placed it as I've just had surgery" as I'd packed it according to ease. She went absolutely ballistic, off the scale mentally unstable. She asked how I think she feels doing this job on top of people moaning, I stated I made a polite request as I am not well, I am not responsible for how previous customers behave. She proceeded to insult me and bully me the entire check, she even said my surgery wasnt her problem. I ended up going to customer services because I'd become so upset, I needed to let a senior staff know what she is doing. The manager was kind.I have never experienced such aggressive behaviour from anyone. I am a quiet person, disabled and it has unnerved me terribly. I would not usually make any fuss but this was not something to be ignored. This worker is very volatile and unstable, she shouldn't be working directly with public.Eve

Worst security ever known pointless the fat one with glasses even having a job to be honest , grabbed my partner accusing her of stealing whilst stood at the kiosk about to pay , then threw us out the shop and wouldn’t let my partner back in , disgusting , get uniform off I’ll grab him myself the same way ?
