Lovely and clean, very good service and friendly staff, been twice under very sad circumstances and the staff made our stay all the better, namely Layla, Danni (I think was her name behind the bar) and Elaine, Rachel and Jesse serving in the restaurant?

Comfortable and value for money hotel. However if you want a relaxing, stress free breakfast opt for the ‘continental’ option. Kitchen and restaurant seriously under staffed, as a result it takes an eternity for the cooked breakfast to arrive.

Had a great break away, staff was kind n polite and helpful. Cleaning staff was great and would stay again. Food was nice and had enough choices to cover all for dinner. Staff was polite and had since of humour too.

Our 3rd year visiting this Premier Inn. The staff are so very friendly and helpful. We requested a specific room, the same one as last year. Unfortunately it was occupied but we had the room next door. We dined in The Ridgacre pub next door and the food was excellent. The lady who served us, Vicky, we remembered from last year and she is really lovely and friendly.

Great hotel with usual Premier Inn features. Clean room friendly staff. Excellent bar facilities next door. I didn’t eat at the hotel by choice although there was an extensive menu available. Would recommend.

Premier inn Complaint The check in experience was extremely pleasant, despite my issues having booked the wrong hotel a mile away, the staff was very professional. The night manager was also very good when I came back and was very helpful making me a new key as I left mine in the room when I left the hotel earlier. The problems I had began was that the window had been left open by either a previous guest or the hotel staff and I hadn’t noticed as I was in the hotel for only an hour or so after check in and then had to leave for an event I was attending. Upon my return there were several insects which resemble wasps and also mosquitos that made my nights sleep VERY uncomfortable, as a result I woke up late and was treated very unprofessionally by the staff that morning, having been almost harassed, to the extent where I had to answer the door on the third knocking of my door between 1pm and 1:25pm to explain I was just about to shower and would leave the room after packing my bags after I woke up late because I didn’t sleep much, but all the receptionist bothered about was to tell me mine was the last room to be cleaned and I needed to leave at 12 and it was way past 1pm already, to have that little disregard for a guest is not what I’ve experienced at Premier Inns before and I was very disappointed, to be honest I’m glad I got this email as I’ve been meaning to complain since I left yesterday. The difference between the staff that checked me and met me when I returned overnight and the extremely rude and unprofessional lady in the morning was surprising, added to that the unprofessional laughing and joking of the housekeeping staff who were going on their break when a guest (myself) was clearly sitting in reception within earshot of their laughing and joviality whilst being entirely ignored upon check out by the lady at reception, not offered water but poured myself a glass from the jug at reception, not interacted with even once by her, to ask how my stay was etc. As if I was a hindrance to her day because I overslept. It wasn’t ideal that I hadn’t checked out on time but the fact that even when I walked out of the room, I mentioned the bugs in the room to one of the room cleaning staff servicing one of the rooms next to mine when I left and she merely replied with a very unconcerned “Ok” I honestly wish the ladies that checked me in on Saturday instead of the unprofessional bunch I met on Sunday. I’ve worked in hospitality and stayed in many properties around the world, your brand prides itself on a Good Nights Stay with comfort and value amongst your strengths, I would suggest the manager of the property revisit the CCTV of me being ignored in reception for almost an hour from around 1:45pm to 2:45pm, I wasn’t interacted with or asked if I need anything ONCE! Then please retrain the lady on reception on how all your guests deserve the same respect and if somebody is late checking out maybe try to understand the situation before being so rude and harassing them to go from asleep to leaving and packing two suitcases every few minutes, it takes time and I’d say 30 mins is a more realistic amount of time they should be allowed to shower and pack before they leave, and to also interact with guests in reception, not ignore them for the entire time they’re sitting there.

As always, Premier Inn gives you a great bed, quiet room and a good shower. My recent stay however, the room was ridiculously hot, the window would only open 2 inches although I was on the ground floor and you could not cool the room in anyway. The made my usual great night sleep at a Premier Inn non existent due to the heat

Room was too hot to sleep was provided with a very dirty fan full of dust. Couldn’t use room was very hot couldn’t get any sleep. Asked about air conditioning or controlling the heat in the room but was none other than the dirty fan.

Hotel is easy to get too just of the M5. The metro stop is a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the centre of Birmingham making it an ideal place to stay if wanting to visit Birmingham. On site Restaurent providing a good choice of of food and breakfast if required.

Premier Inn was a great choice for our girls overnight stay. Great customer service from the reception, the rooms were clean and very well made up. I had a comfortable sleep and the breakfast was fantastic.

Hotel is located away from the hustle n bustle , but noisy with residents at night and children were screaming , maybe a one off but looked like the front desk did not acknowledge this and should have.

The location, hotel, reception, room and bed were all that we expected......very good. The service in the restaurant was not as we would have expected. Breakfast we had to wait about 50 mins for our cooked breakfast (Eggs, bacon, sausages etc) how long does it take to cook these? Restaurant was no where near full and plenty of staff about. By the time we had eaten our cooked breakfast all other facilities had been removed, toaster tea/coffee facilities etc.

We stayed here for two nights in January 2023 to attend a conference in Birmingham. Everything about the place was easy-going and relaxed. There was plenty of parking on arrival, the check-in was simple and the staff friendly. The room was standard Premier Inn: good size, clean and comfortable. The beds really aren't the same since Premier Inn switched to SilentNight from Hypnos, but otherwise a good stay. Only thing that prevented us from giving it a max 5 rating was the price, which although for Birmingham wasn't too bad, it's still quite expensive, especially as the rooms are the standard. Would happily stay again though for the right price. The location is also good for walking to the tram line and catching that into the City Centre, which is nice if you fancy a break from driving.
