Lovely place, really nice staff and food and drinks were delicious-highly recommend it and will definitely be making a return visit soon!! All five of us were impressed with the food. Plenty of parking there too.

The Lewisham Bar & Restaurant

Didn’t know this hidden gem existed. Came here for a birthday celebration and had a great time. We sat with a view overlooking the well manicured golf course. Good food, good atmosphere, good service what else could you want? Well done I approve ??

Subway

This is my regular Subway and I can’t recommend it enough. Saman and Dilpreet are always welcoming and provide brilliant service. They even know my order better than I do sometimes, always remembering to add the guacamole when I forget to ask!

​The shop is always clean, the service is quick, and it is super convenient that they are open early till late. Whether it's breakfast or a late dinner, the team is always spot on. 5 stars!

The New Hen & Chickens Bar & Grill

Credit where credit is due, I rarely write reviews but the food at the Hen and Chickens knocks its competitors out of the park. We’ve been to every curry house in the area, and one of our favourites is award winning restaurant in Stourbridge. The food here is on par and very reasonably priced considering. If you’re in the West Bromwich area, it’s worth a visit for taste!

Food isn’t anything special, as you know for this chain. The staff seemed stressed because it was busy but we were still served quickly. It’s a fairly relaxed atmosphere in there

The Railway Inn

Absolutely one of the best mixed grills we’ve ever had!

We visited The Railway Inn on Bromford Lane and were blown away by the quality and portion size. The mixed grill was cooked to perfection — every item was full of flavour, tender, and served sizzling hot. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take real pride in their food. Fish was amazing.

A massive shout-out to Sam, who recommended adding the chips. Great suggestion — they were absolutely delicious and complemented the mixed grill perfectly.

Excellent food, generous portions, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend The Railway Inn to anyone looking for an incredible mixed grill experience in West Bromwich!

The island inn

Newly refurbished. Decorated nicely. Food lovely. My only qualm is that the £27.95 island inn mixed grill is not nearly big enough to justify that price tag. Needs more food on there. Hopefully they can sort this out.

Interceptor

Today, me and my partner were served by Nay! She was lovely, very chatty and polite. She ensured that our drinks were served as soon as possible and that we were greeted with a friendly smile and some welcoming conservations! The wait time was minimal and we had our drinks and food served within 15 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Me and my partner plan to return in the future! Thank you for such lovely service!?

The Red Lion

This is very much bigger inside than it looks from the road. Car parking on site is adequate, but may not be at peak times. The place is very clean and organised and a Welcomer will greet you on arrival. There is a well stocked bar to suit almost everyone. Seating can be from a table for one up to large family size, so plenty of choice but I would recommend booking first if you can for a group. The menu is Asian, Indian, Cantonese style, a good choice is available. Phone first if you have any allergies. Table service is fast, as are the kitchen preparations, so waiting time is minimal. Prices are slightly higher than standard pub grub but you get what you pay for. Here, we experienced generous portion sizes from a kitchen that really knows its stuff. The food was exceptionally good. From our experience, a group of eight, we were all very satisfied with the meals and drinks. You can pay indivudually at the table so no need to start working out who owes what! Staff..... plenty of staff on duty. The bar staff were happy and polite. The table staff really need to smile, act and look friendly and learn how to serve at the table. After we had ordered, a stern looking person with the card machine came to take our money. Another stern person came and dumped eight plates, eight spoons eight forks and eight napkins for us to sort out ourselves. As and when one of us finished eating the plate and dishes were wisked away before others had finished eating. This briskness had a twofold effect, firstly the rest of the group thought that they should hurry up and secondly we felt that they wanted to get rid of us as quickly as possible. Very poor etiquette. Otherwise, we had a very nice evening out.

Fast 1 Pizza & Grill Stone Cross West Bromwich

if I could give 10 stars I really would, currently living abroad however when I come back home I always have to come to F1 to get half chicken with rice & salad and extra F1 sauce. My go to favourite healthy meal, chicken is always cooked to perfection, rice is always so fluffy and flavourful and the salad compliments the meal well. Staff are always so friendly and go the extra mile. WORTH EVERY PENNY

This is one of our favourite Balti restaurants, we have been coming here for years, we know the staff well, always a warm welcome and outstanding food and service. They have won many awards for their food as you will see by the display they put on, you won’t be disappointed

I read some reviews today and to be honest I’m quite surprised on there being a few bad reviews. I go here quite regularly and the customer service is great . The man behind the desk is always very positive and friendly. Food is a good reasonable price and is great , tastes amazing. Always a positive experience for me . And the fries here are the best .

The Yew Tree - West Bromwich

Beautiful people, and great food. Shoutout to our awesome server Dipshika for 5 star service. Made us feel welcome and warm service, had my wife’s birthday done really well. Recommendation 5/5 will be back many times.

Red Leaf Global Buffet

We visited Redleaf Global Buffet recently, and it feels completely transformed. There is a wide variety at the live counters, especially the Chinese section, which tastes just like it used to—authentic and flavorful.

The food was truly wonderful, with many more options than before. The desserts were especially delicious and well presented.

The décor is decent and pleasant, and the staff were cooperative, attentive, and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, a great dining experience and definitely worth revisiting.

We ordered on Just Eat from here today, food was nice and hot. My only small gripe is the menu says chips and pictures on here suggest they are chips but are more like fries. However they were tasty but would have preferred proper chips!

Fantastic as always and never an issue if item missing or order notes got missed, can always get through when call up to tell them and there always happy to sort it as quick as anything and there really friendly too. Overall best quality for price and food always cooked to perfection and always arrives hot and freshly cooked too ?

CHINA GARDEN Chinese Takeaway

Had a few meals from here via just eat. My wife is partial to salt n pepper squid. There isn't many Chinese takeaways that cook it. The other dishes we're tried has been nice and tasty.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in mouths. Absolutely the best meal. Highly recommend!

Dixys always has the best food. My go to order is a chicken burger with chips, when I ask for it plain they always make it plain! Tasty food, one of my fav places to eat.

Standard Starbucks quality food and drink, staff less engaging and helpful this time, several people with headphones on laptops instead of chatting with friends.

Subway

Had a great sandwich after a long time. Bread was really soft and fresh, with right portion of meat, salad and sauces. And the two ladies at the counter were really lovely & amazing to interact.

The Three Horseshoes

Cosy, welcoming and now a bit of a family tradition for us. The pub has such a warm, homely feel, especially with the fires going – it’s the perfect place to settle in and relax.

The selection of beers and ciders is genuinely impressive, with something for everyone, whether you’re into classic ales or want to try something a bit different. We’ve discovered a few new favourites here!

It’s become our family norm to come here for a few drinks on a Sunday, and it’s something we all look forward to every week. A lovely spot with great atmosphere and great drinks.

Eatwise Takeaway West Bromwich

Order from here regularly. Even recommend to friends who love it. Salt and pepper chips are best in the area, lightly battered too.
Chicken curry is always perfect, with the perfect amount of soy on rice.
Sweet and sour, is authentic sauce. Overall the perfect Chinese takeaway.

Georges Fish Bar

I went to this chippy recently and it was excellent. The food came out fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked. The fish had a light crisp batter and the chips were golden with the right amount of salt and vinegar.

The lady serving me made the visit even better. She was friendly without being forced, quick with service, and attentive to what I wanted. She had a calm way of running the counter even though the place was busy. That kind of attitude makes a difference.

This is the kind of spot you leave feeling satisfied, not just from the food but from the people who put effort into making it worth your time.

Paratha Express

I visited Paratha Express and tried the Aloo Paratha Thali, Sev Puri, and Masala Chai. The prices are reasonable. The paratha was really good and freshly prepared, though you have to wait around 10–15 minutes, which is understandable. Definitely a must-try.
The masala chai was average, nothing special, and the sev puri didn’t meet expectations. However, they have a good North Indian sweets collection, which is a plus. Overall, a decent experience.

Classic Fish Bar

I am not local to the area, in fact I live in Derby but just happened to be in the area. My daughter had told me how great the takeaway is. Unbeatable prices, great food. I had mini fish chips and curry sauce. Son had chicken burger and chips. It's all freshly cooked. Chips were great.
Next time I will try some Pakoras.

McDonald's

It was really fast and efficient but that might be because it wasn’t really packed that day and time,but in consideration I’d say that my experience was amazing it only took about 3-5 minutes to grab my food and go!!
