Everything about this place is 5 star worthy. Food is very tasty and always served hot. The staff are very friendly and will accommodate your requests including reservations, finding a table when very busy or for example swapping the lamb option for more chicken in the mixed grill. The layout upstairs is amazing with large tables and booths and it is always busy with a good atmosphere. We have come here for quick social visits, family meals and even family birthdays for which they have a room downstairs which can be booked for such occasions.Parking: There is a free car park and free street parking nearbyKid-friendliness: There are booths and high chairs if you want to come with children and this is a family friendly establishment

Great night spent with family, food as good as remember it & service is top notch. I highly recommend the Hen & Chickens for a family night out & great food too.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an accessible entrance into the Hen & Chickens at the rear & it leads directly to the large dining room. It is wide enough to get a wheelchair in & the ramp is a decent gradient too.
